I get asked this a lot, so I wanted to explain the difference so you know what you’re getting when you order!

Royal icing cookies: (what we specialize in)
- Smooth, clean finish
- Hand piped and layered designs
- Each layer has to dry before adding more
- Takes hours (sometimes even days) to complete
- Perfect for detailed, custom sets

Buttercream cookies:
- Soft, fluffy frosting
- Less detail and not as crisp
- Quicker to decorate

Why are royal icing cookies priced higher?
It really comes down to the time and detail. Every cookie is hand decorated, layered, and dried multiple times to get that clean, finished look. There’s a lot of time that goes into each set behind the scenes.

Both are delicious, it just depends on the style you’re wanting. 😊
