✨ Today reminded me why small businesses and community matter so much.

Dana has been with me since the very beginning in 2019, buying treats for her pups Baldur and Evie. Over the years, she’s become so much more than a customer — she’s become a friend.

Recently Dana launched Heron Metal Works, creating stunning jewelry. I’ve loved cheering her on at her first shows, even walking away with a gorgeous pair of earrings and a ring. Supporting women in business is integral to who I am.

But today at Pet Fest, Dana showed up with something that left me teary. She placed a handcrafted silver paw pendant around my neck — a gift far too generous, but one she refused to let me give back. She fastened it herself. That’s the moment I realized… this is what women supporting women looks like.

I’m so grateful for this friendship, and I want you to see Dana’s work too — she’s truly one to watch. 💜
