We have SO much to get done, and racing the clock is just how I like to roll! šŸ˜‚ It wouldnā€™t be my style to actually finish early, would it?!

Honestly, though, I canā€™t complain too much. I get to enjoy all the beautiful fall colors right from the comfort of my sewing room.

But seriouslyā€¦ am I posting this because Iā€™m feeling productive, or because Iā€™m procrastinating on the seven other projects I should be working on for the craft show?

I promise Iā€™m still alive over here! šŸ˜‚ I didnā€™t realize how long it had been since I last posted. Lately, Iā€™ve been busy learning all about this whole becoming-a-mom thing! šŸ„¹šŸ¤

One thing Iā€™ve learned so far? Picking out a blanket print for MY baby is a whole lot harder than I ever imagined! Youā€™d think that would be the easiest part of owning a blanket business, but apparently not when itā€™s for your own little one! šŸ’™šŸ©·

But donā€™t worry, weā€™re still here and keeping busy! šŸ§µšŸŖ” We are still selling inside Lexilou and are working hard behind the scenes to get ready for The Big One Art & Craft Fair in Minot the first weekend of November! šŸŽ„āœØ

I know itā€™s been VERY, VERY quiet on this page lately, but itā€™s been for a good reasonā€¦

Weā€™ve officially ā€œhiredā€ a new employee! šŸ‘¶šŸ©·šŸ’™

They wonā€™t be working in person for a few more months yet. We had to make sure the background check came back clear and confirm they could safely use scissors. (Okay, the scissor test hasnā€™t officially happened yet šŸ¤£āœ‚ļø)

In all seriousness, this little blessing has brought some adjustments, and Iā€™ve been spending the last few months navigating all the changes that come with growing a tiny human.

Donā€™t worry weā€™re still planning on doing shows, and you can still find our products inside Lexilou. Iā€™m still here, still creating, and still sewing, just balancing business life with this exciting new adventure.

Winter flew by in a blur, and somehow itā€™s already April. Weā€™re headed to the North Dakota State Fairgrounds for The Big One Art & Craft Fair this weekend!

Itā€™s been nonstop making, cutting, and packing over here, but we are so ready for a fun, busy weekend. Come see us, we canā€™t wait to catch up with all of you! šŸŽ€

A little update from our maker!!

McKennaā€™s Minky madness is approaching her spring craft show that is coming up this weekend. When youā€™re running a small business somethingā€™s are all hands on deck. With all the preparations and packing and show set up we will be TEMPORARILY moving out of Lexilou. We will be back in the store next week! McKennaā€™s Minky Madness is so thankful for this opportunity. Donā€™t worry thereā€™s still so much to shop from at Lexilou! Stop by and grab a bouquet of flowers, or shop the other small businesses. We will be back soon!
