When it comes to decorating cakes, the possibilities are infinite. I have the most fun when I'm given the artistic freedom to do the absolute most - but I've also found joy in the unique visions & associated challenges presented by each customer's unique request.
I'm most inspired by metallics, glitter & fresh living elements, such as plants & flowers. I LIVE for a good gold leaf moment. And, absolutely adore anything sparkly. Overall, I enjoy any & everything aesthetically pleasing, which is what I strive to achieve in everything I bake.
Here we have my most requested cake design - Marbled buttercream with edible gold splatter. Green has definitely become my favorite combo for this. There's something about the way the gold pops out. Add in some 24K gold?! issa wrap.
Equally, I’m just as adamant that the cake guts be as extravagant as the design. Inside, we had a Neapolitan Cake. The first layer being Belgian Chocolate. The second, Toasted Sugar + Madagascan Vanilla. And 3rd, Wild Strawberry. We frosted between each layer with Semi Sweet Swiss Meringue and covered the outside in our signature Madagascan Vanilla + Brown Buttercream.
I know I say it time and time again, but it’s truly a blessing to be a part of such monumental, important moments in each of your lives. I don't take the honor lightly. Thank you again for continuing to trust Trap Haus Sweets!! Now who's gonna make me the happiest baker ever and order a damn cake?!
