Happy Labor Day!

We'll be celebrating the holiday weekend with loved ones, but after that, we'll be busy as bees getting ready for the fall and holiday season! Looking ahead, we'll be at the Little Falls Arts and Crafts Fair, Saturday, September 12, from 8 am - 6 pm, and Sunday, September 13, from 9 am - 4 pm. Check out the rest of our 2026 schedule by visiting our website at https://brinesfinehoneys.com/events/! Hoping to see you there!

I meant to post this recipe ages ago, but obviously things got busy and I just now realized my omission! This creamy mushroom pasta brings out the warm, nutty notes of Brine's Fine Honeys Chestnut Honey from Spain. But you'll have to act fast: our remaining inventory of Spanish Chestnut Honey is very limited. We are down to less than two dozen jars!

Find the recipe and purchase your honey at https://brinesfinehoneys.com/creamy-mushroom-brown-butter-sage-pasta-with-chestnut-honey/

Did you know that the American Chestnut tree, once a very abundant and important food source for many animals and even humans, was all but wiped out in less than 40 years after the Chestnut Blight arrived in the early 1900's? So, if you love the woody, earthy taste of Chestnut Honey and wish to enjoy its unique taste, it has to be imported. As many of you know, the world of importing has been turned on its head over the last 1 1/2 years with high tariffs and high fuel prices, among other things. It is my passion to share the world's most intriguing honey varietals with you, but I do not anticipate being able to bring in more Spanish (or any other country's) honeys until things settle down. So... grab what you can while we still have it in stock! We will always do our best, however, to have a wonderful assortment of domestic varietal honeys available, and we still have some delicious Spanish Forest Honey and Spanish Heather Honey in stock, while supplies last.

Summer is wrapping up, but you can extend the summery feeling (and calm your inner child!) by enjoying a fudgy popsicle over the upcoming Labor Day Weekend! This easy recipe has only five ingredients and comes together quickly using Brine's Fine Honeys Coriander Honey (or your personal favorite BFH varietal). There are some great stainless steel popsicle molds available online. Go ahead, savor the last few days of summer!

It's going to be a hot weekend! But we'd still love to have you stop by our booth at the Loring Park Art Festival this Saturday, July 25, 10 am - 6 pm, and Sunday, July 26, 10 am - 5 pm, in Minneapolis. And when you get home, you can cool down with your favorite cocktail or mocktail using simple syrup made from the wonderful gourmet varietal honey you just bought! You'll not only add sweetness, but also interesting flavor notes depending on which honey you use.

Two-parts honey to one-part warm water is all it takes for a rich simple syrup. Mix until dissolved and store your simple syrup in the refrigerator. My sister swears that our Spanish Forest Honey makes the best Old Fashioneds! What will you cool down with??

The basswood trees are blooming in my area. The nectar from these tiny blossoms can be very plentiful, and it is one of the main nectar sources for Brine's Fine Honeys Central Minnesota Wildflower Honey. Basswood nectar gives this honey a bright, limey taste that can't be beat! Add a Little Buzz® to your day and order a jar of Minnesota Wildflower Honey, or one of our other wonderful varietal honeys, from our website today! https://brinesfinehoneys.com/

Brine's Fine Honeys is excited to be in Virginia, MN, this weekend for the Land of the Loon Ethnic Arts & Crafts Festival! And we're Adding a Little Buzz® to our packaging options by introducing our eco-friendly alternative to a plastic bag! As much as we love them, paper bags with twisted paper handles can give out, especially with multiple jars of honey. So we've come up with a fun alternative you can use long after your honey has been brought home.

Our bright, floral Brine's Fine Honeys branded 27" x 27" tea towel works great for packaging up to four jars of honey and can be used in myriad ways: drying dishes, covering baked goods, drying produce, etc. Tell us your favorite way to use them! Tea towels are $5.00 each or free if you purchase four or more 12-ounce jars of honey!

Check us out Saturday at Olcott Park, 10 am - 6 pm and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm!
