Well, Here in this photo: You will find my Christmas Present to my family. I like to call it: " Christmas Day present from Shelly.. You got to have leftovers from the gathering. A "goodie" bag maybe a cookie for SANTA? you"ll find 7 layer magic bars, peanut butter balls, banana nut bread all sizes, CHRISTMAS cookies the grandchildren and family decorated, I brought a kit!! The kids did so good.. One of my favorite new things was the candied popcorn
So, pop up a whole stew pot of POPCORN. Sift the Kernals out !! Next pulvurize in the food processor 20 butterscotch disks. In a pot over a pot called a double broiler I improvise: in the stew pot. add a solid metal abject to hold up a smaller pan with a handle I used a spatula I could bend thus tilting your inner pan. so In the top pan melt 20 ounce of "almond bark" and 3/4 cup of powdered sugar and 3/4 stick of butter add the butterscotch that you ground up. Now have some wax paper ready on a cookie pan. So in a large plastic bowl add the creamed melted almond bark mixture over the popcorn. Mix it up good. pour on sheet of waxed paper. spread it out so it cools quicker. I put mine in the freezer, then break it up pour back into your plastic bowl. Good for movie night. IT NATURAL COMES APART AND DOESN'T STICK TOGETHER LIKE OTHER ALMOND BARK BECAUSE YOU BREAK DOWN THE STICKINESS WITH THE POWDERED SUGAR AND BUTTER THUS CHANGING YOU STICKINESS TO ONLY GOOD FOR COATING. SO DON'T WORRY SERVING SIZE IS ONE PIECE AT A TIME. PLUS I MADE AN ALMOND BARK RECIPE USING LITTLE OREO COOKIE PRETZELS AND WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIPS. ALSO M AND M'S. white chocolate chips, the little Chex Ceral thus coating a snack mixture the difference to get it to continue with "supreme stickiness" is to only add oil 1 tsp at a time to your melted almond bark to thin it. I like to fix my errors and it always brings another recipe on the table. This popcorn is perfect for string on the tree.
