Please note that ALL pick-ups this week will be local only. “Local” includes pick-up options in Council Bluffs, Underwood, Neola, and Minden. We will reach out tofinalize the exact time and location the day before your scheduled pick-up date.

Hi friends, and welcome to all of our new followers 🤍

Since we’re in the midst of our busy season, we thought it was time to re-introduce ourselves! I’m Taylor and I am the baker behind Campfire Cottage. In addition to a bakery owner, I’m a middle school special education teacher, volleyball coach, wife, and mama to 3 sweet kiddos.

Campfire Cottage is a small cottage bakery run right out of our home in Minden, Iowa. What started as a passion for sourdough and homemade baking has slowly grown into this amazing little community that we’re so thankful for.

This bakery is truly a side gig built during nap times, late nights, early mornings, and in between all the chaos of teaching and motherhood. I’m not the bakery trying to create the most perfect looking products, I’m simply trying to make bread and baked goods that taste like they came fresh from your own oven and were made with care for the people you love most. But I get to take all the work off your plate and you get to simply enjoy 😊

The bakery is getting some MAJOR upgrades this weekend and I just wanted to plop this pic here…

This is how I opened the business in Jan 2025. I baked 1 loaf at a time. Took orders on a Jot Form. Sold out in minutes each week simply because I was only able to bake 2-3 loaves PER DAY.

WOW. WOW. WOW.

I can’t wait to share the pics with you when we’re done and share more of the story of how I got from here to where I am now. All because of you all 🤍🥰

The full menu is available this week, including a small batch of scones. Once the scones sell out, that’s it for the week!

Most pickup spots will be local (CB, Underwood, Neola, Minden). We’ll also have one limited one-hour pickup window in La Vista.

Orders will open every Thursday morning at 8AM, and pick ups will be available Monday–Sunday the FOLLOWING week! 😍
