Hello? Hi! 👋👋 It's me!!! SURPRISE!

I know I basically dropped off the face of the planet this fall and I'm here to share with you all why....and I promise it's a good reason!

My family is growing and we couldn't be more excited! Unfortunately this pregnancy has been really tough for me and growing this human has kept me out of the kitchen most days.

I am really looking forward to the day I can be back baking for you all again, and hope you will be just as excited to support the bakery when that time comes! For now we will continue to grow this little one and give them a safe home--I promise I'll be back soon! 🤍🍪

We are so sad to announce that we will no longer be able to attend the Lasche Acres Fall Fest. Unfortunately I have been under the weather this week and have needed to rest. I'm so bummed to have to miss such a fun event, but there will still be other vendors and the opportunity to purchase goodies from the farm as well as, of course, PUMPKINS!

Okay, okay---first off, I must apologize. We launched our fall flavors at the beginning of the month, but I've been holding back on putting this one out there because I never had a chance to get any photos of one finished! Life can sometimes be nuts like that! But even though she hasn't been out to the social world, this cookie was at our last market and made a wonderful impression!

I'll be honest with you, when it comes to fall I'll always be an apple over a pumpkin kinda gal. Probably because I grew up going to our local apple orchard and have such fond memories there. This song even reminds of something that would be playing as I walked through the orchard market!

These bad boys are fresh out of the oven! It's our Pumpkin Oreo Cookie and by looking at them you wouldn't even know they were gluten free!

My husband was diagnosed with celiac disease a couple months after we started dating. I remember him being so upset because he felt like he would never get to have any of his favorite types of foods again. It was then that I made it my mission to not only be able to give him access to the foods he enjoys, but to be able to do it in a way that actually TASTES GOOD! That's not always easy when it comes to gluten free, but I have worked hard to find the right blends that work for the right type of baked goods. And if you ask him, and many others, the gluten free cookies at Sweet Magpie's Bakery smash it out of the park!

*Although we are very careful, the gluten free items are made in the same kitchen as our gluten items so a small risk of gluten exposure does exist. We take many precautions to limit this risk, but we are not a certified gluten free kitchen*

Fall Flavor #2 is here!

PUMPKIN OREO 🎃

These have just the right amount of that pumpkin spice flavor mixed with chocolate 🍫. They are soft and chewy and if a cookie could be cozy--this would be it!

We will have this flavor with us for the Milton Community Days market next Friday, September 12 from 5-8pm! Come and see us!

Friday evening was our first market at Milton Community Days and we had a wonderful turn out!!! So much so that we sold out of all our regular cookie flavors in less than 2 hours!!!!

We had such a fun time meeting so many new faces and bringing delicious goodies to you all! If you stopped and saw us, please hop into the comments and let us know! We would love to know your thoughts and to put a name to the face! And thank you so very much for supporting this dream!

Special shout out goes to allll of the people who helped to make this day happen! Starting a small business isn't easy, but I am so grateful for each and every person who has helped along the way so that we can be successful! You all know who you are 😘

It's just after 11pm and we are in the kitchen dreaming up some fall flavors!

This is the part you don't see when you bite into our amazing cookies. You don't see the late nights, the dirty dishes, or the sore feet. The trial and error of tweaking a recipe to make it exactly what you envision in your heart. The taste tests, the failures, the successes.

As a momma, much of this dream is accomplished at night after my little is asleep, and it's not always easy to balance growing this business, continuing to work as a nurse, and being a wife and mother and sleeping. But it's nights like tonight where the extra time spent in the kitchen gives my soul the boost it needs and a little spark of passion that I've been needing!

You guys don't even know how excited I am to bring some new and exciting flavors to you, and the smells in my kitchen right now are EVERYTHING!
