Baking done and delivered for this week. I also got to set-up my booth at Vermont Makers Marketplace Cafe in South Hero. Soft open is Wednesday, 9/2. If you’re traveling through the islands stop in and check out the treasures. It’s right across from the Community bank. A beautiful sign will be going up soon. We have a banner to put up over our display area and there is a bottom shelf we will be adding a curtain to. We are 95% ready to rock and roll!

Baking done, deliveries done, and catching up on laundry. It’s been a busy week since getting home from Maine. I’m putting over a 1,000 items in the HomeGoods building at the fair. All of those items need a special fair tag. That has been my task this last week.
SOMETHING NEW… I will be having my craft items at a new location: Vermont Makers Marketplace Cafe in South Hero, Vermont. If you go on a foliage ride through the islands this fall stop by. It is a red building right across from the Community Bank.

Now to prepare for Champlain Valley fair. Over 1,000 things to label by 8/23 when I go to set up my table in the Homegoods building.

No baking this week. Taking some time off to visit my daughter who lives in South Carolina but in NH for a few weeks. I took time out for a manicure/pedicure. I’ve been working on fair tags for the Champlain Valley fair (Homegoods Building) and a few paper crafts. I’m trying to design a barn treat box. The doors open and will have a sentiment inside. I think the tops of the sides need white trim. What do you think? I’ve made a bunch of hacky sacks for the fair.

It’s been a few busy weeks here. Camping, baking, appointments, and so on… (a few camping pictures below)
This weeks baking is done and delivered:
Lots of lemon bars
GF Cinnamon Coffeecakes
Almond Joy Cookies
Lots of Quiche shells
I did get to make my first turtle foot mop one evening this week.

I get to spend this coming weekend with my daughter and grandchildren. It may rain but my heart will be full of joy.

Christmas in July! A new product to go in the fair: a “Stocking Box”. You fill with someone’s favorite treats and give with a smile! I love the quilted effect. A little time consuming but a fun project. Great for teachers, coworkers, neighbors, church friends, etc. I can ship so order early if you would like some on hand.
