Last week our family lost our nanny, the matriarch of our family and the inspiration (and name sake) of this bakery, Norma Jean. I’m happy her legacy lives on through this little business. She was so proud of what it has become and would always share the amazing things produced out of here.

I know I’ve been MIA on here but we are in the midst of moving to north Atlanta. I plan to reopen in that area end of summer. Thank you to all my Florida clients who have supported us. Seek us out if you are ever in the area!

Happy New Year! I’ve been quiet over here but we are still working and making those cakes! Early fall I found out I was pregnant so that slowed things down a bit. That first trimester exhaustion is over and we are ready for another year bringing you all the wonderful cakes!

Has anyone else thought summer flew by??? I’m official back in teaching so if I haven’t gotten back to you, I will! Im still adjusting to checking my phone and responding while teaching. We are currently almost fully booked for August and booking into Oct and Sept. Here is a little of what we have been up to the past month🙂

Starting August 1, we will be taking only a limited number of cakes each week.
Before I starting baking cakes I was a teacher. I left teaching when I had my first child. With both of my kids officially in school full time this year, our family has decided that this is a great time to go back, so I have accepted a full time position at thier school.
My schedule will be limited until I figure out the best way to balance it all. I usually book out a few weeks in advance so with the limited schedule you will need to make sure to book as soon as possible.
So get those orders in as soon as possible! A couple weeks in August are already completely booked!

Hello everyone! I’m president of our schools new booster club and we started a fundraiser today.
