The Miller Beach White Party is back by popular demand. So break out your favorite white fashions or free spirited ensemble and come dressed to impress. The "white" themed party consists of an indoor winter landscape of wonder, echoing an enchanting edge. Sit back and take in the scene from a hidden cove in the indoor winter forest. Indulge in creative cuisine consisting of warm comfort food, appe
tizing hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats by Cupcake Events while you sip a signature cocktail from the Martini Bar. Also enjoy a special brewed pint of White Ale or Black Wedding from Blue Law Brewing. If high energy is your pleasure, groove to the new and old school music of DJ Alabaster in the glistening "Ice Club", or just chill-ax with a glass of wine in the swanky "Igloo Lounge." We promise something for everyone. An important aspect of the White Party is community involvement. By collaborating with the Miller Beach Arts and Creative District, local artists have been invited to contribute fabulous pieces of art that will add to the theme of the exhibit and also be featured in a silent auction that will help to raise funds for a local non-profit organization. Additionally, local art students have been enlisted to assist with the construction of various themed stations, ultimately playing a major part in building the artistic landscape. From their efforts, these students will have an opportunity to earn community service hours required for graduation and take part in the artistic exhibition. Proceeds from the silent auction portion will be donated to Hospice of the Calumet Area, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to improving the quality of life through compassionate care for individuals and families facing a life-limiting illness.
