For those that have ordered, you may have seen a purple butterfly sticker on the box. This butterfly means a lot to those who have been affected by it. Cece’s Sweets was named after my niece, Cecilia. Cece was loved by everyone she crossed paths with and was the happiest and silliest little girl I’ve met. Cecilia was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood epilepsy, known as Dravet Syndrome. Cecilia unfortunately took her last breath on earth on June 15th, 2022; three years ago today. June 15th is also Dravet Remembrance Day, the day our community recognizes those who fought and lost their battle. Cece loved baking, flowers, and more than anything, cupcakes! This Dravet Remembrance Day, I made cupcakes including her favorite things, minus the chicken nuggets. Thank you to everyone who supports my business, as you’re keeping Cece’s memory alive every time! 💜🦋
