Hey hey! Long time no see, huh? I’ve been quite busy at work, so have not had much time to check this account! I do miss baking and selling at markets, but NJ is just ridiculous.

I’ve decided that this account will now be a page where I post the occasional bake/meal. Not only do I enjoy baking, but I also enjoy cooking just as much, if not more! Such as with this delightful mac and cheese above! You’ll see more comfort food over the next few months.

I also need ideas - what should I call this account now!? Since cooking ain’t sweet (all the time), I need to change it up! Leave some suggestions in the comments ☺️.

Hello everyone,

It is with extreme sadness that I announce the closure of Sally’s Sweets. This decision did not come lightly, but the imposition of ridiculous (and expensive) restrictions on cottage bakers in NJ has had consequences. And it really sucks, because I enjoyed baking for you all! I’ve also got a main job that is starting to take up more of my time.

I want to let you know how appreciative I am for all you have done for me since I started in 2022. YOU have helped to make this a success (well, at least for a bit). So, thank you. And this is not the last you’ll see of me! I will come visit my lovely friends I’ve made at fairs in the future. I will also still post occasional bakes!
