The farmstand was super busy today, which was so fun for me to get updates about while I’m in bed recovering from this hip surgery. Thank you all for continuing to show up and support us. It means more than you know!
It’s also been so fun hearing how excited people are about our little cabinet filled with all the extra goodies, and seeing people take advantage of the build-your-own gift basket option. We love seeing you enjoy these little additions to the farmstand and make them your own. We were thoughtful to curate this cabinet with things that we’ve intentionally made for our own Homestead over the last 10 years.
There won’t be a ton left for tomorrow, but Steve will have some fresh bread on Monday, plus we still have par-baked cinny rolls tucked away in the freezer!
Recovery is going pretty well over here. I’m following my protocol and will continue to mostly rest this next week. Once I hit that two-week mark, I’ll be able to be up a little bit more. I’m feeling really optimistic and looking forward to regaining my body for the first time in many years. I know it will take time, but I’m so hopeful for what’s ahead.
Thank you again to everyone who has checked in, sent messages, dropped off food, and poured so much love and support into our family. The messages have been so sweet for me & the meals have been such a gift and have saved Steve’s sanity one at a time. A special thank you to Steve’s mom for helping keep our house manageable, folding laundry, cleaning, and taking care of all those little things that make such a difference right now. We feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such a thoughtful and supportive community.
