Did you know that The Preppy Pretzel has offered stuffed pretzel bread bowls since 2022? Fill them with your own favorite delicious dips or buy one of our pretzel bowl kits (delicious pretzel bread bowl and a container of one of our soups, stews or other fillings). You can prep our bread bowl kits at home, take them to work or tuck them into your kids’ lunches! We also put our bowls together for you and serve them hot and delicious on location at our markets, festivals, etc.

We have a wide variety of soups, stews, pastas and other hot fillings as well as cold fillings such as chicken salad, egg salad, shrimp salad, pasta salad, etc.

This week’s specials include Sloppy Joe, New England Clam Chowder, Mac and Beer Cheese, Beef Chili with beans, Broccoli and Cheddar soup and Minestrone (Italian vegetable) soup. See you at our weekly markets!

I wanted to share a little bit of my family’s most cherished Austrian Christmas tradition. My Omama was instrumental in teaching me how to cook and bake when I was a little girl and I often wonder what she would think of all the Tyrolean pretzels being enjoyed so far away from the Sud Tirol. ❤️

The countdown continues!!! Ring in the holiday season with The Preppy Pretzel at the Tree Lighting in D.C. on Saturday, Nov 29 from 5-7pm! Enjoy the tree lighting, a concert with Destiny’s Child Michelle Williams, fireworks, face painting and other activities for families and hot, fresh soft pretzels, pretzel dogs and dipping sauces from yours truly! So honored to have been asked to be part of this wonderful tradition! Getting here is easy by car (multiple parking garages) and by Metro (only a few blocks away). The Pretzel Buggy will be decked out in garlands and lights for the festivities! Can’t wait to see everyone there! 🎄🎄🎄🎉🎉🎉

The countdown to my most anticipated event of the year for The Preppy Pretzel has begun! I am so honored and excited to have been approached earlier this year to be one of only eight food businesses chosen in the region to be part of the Tree Lighting in DC this coming Saturday!! Christmas is my favorite season and holiday and I have been soooo excited about this gig!!

There will be the tree lighting, a concert with Destiny’s Child Michelle Williams, fireworks and yummy goodies to buy from the chosen food vendors! Stores will be open so you can do some shopping, too! I am near the Gucci and Hermes stores… dangerous!! Good thing I will be busy working, haha!!

The Pretzel Buggy and the Honda Pilot will be decked out in garlands, lights and cheerful decorations and my team that night will be sporting festive attire and fun holiday hats! This is going to be so much fun!!! 🤩 You can find the Pretzel Buggy on the corner of I St and 10th St, across from the Christmas Tree and stage! 🎄❤️

I can’t wait to ring in the holiday season and I hope to see many friends there! It is an easy, 2 block walk from Metro Center, so you don’t have to drive! Come out and help usher in the most magical time of the year!! 🎄 🎅 🥨

Our Original Pretzel Cone™ made its first appearance back in 2022. We have been tweaking the design ever since. We are delighted that our customers love the newest look we debuted in January of this year. Thank you! Our pillowy soft pretzel cones come in a variety of sizes and are available stuffed with a variety of savory and sweet fillings. You also can buy them empty so you can fill them with your own favorite morsels!
