Kitchen Closing
After 5 years, the time has come to take a step back. As of today, I am no longer accepting custom orders. I WILL obviously be honoring all standing orders. (I will also still be baking for a few family and friend’ events, so you may still see some posts here and there 😉). If you have an order with me currently, you are covered, but please feel free to reach out to confirm.
I took this picture over a month ago (actually almost two) and that was the night I made my decision to stop taking orders. But it still took until today to post this because I just couldn’t pull the trigger- I love to bake and create! But I was sitting here one night when he fell asleep in my arms and allllll I wanted to do was lay there, snuggle and soak it all in. But I couldn’t. I had a cake order to do that night. So I had to lay him down and get to work. That was it. That was the moment I decided that it was time; I had to step back. At least for now. I want to be able to enjoy more time with my family and regain some freedom from the kitchen (and some sleep)!
I hope you understand and I would be happy to help you find another local baker.
I want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of my customers for your support over the last five years. I have enjoyed getting to know you and making delicious treats for your life events. Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your ‘big days’. Whether it was a wedding, a milestone birthday, retirement, or just because! I truly appreciate it. 💖✌️
