Hey everyone! It's been a while, so I want to reintroduce myself! I'm Taylor, the owner of Taylor & Co., LLC. Iโ€™m so glad youโ€™re here!

๐Ÿช I've been baking since I was three years old. I come from a military family, so we spent many summers and holidays travelling to see other family members. As you can imagine, those visits were filled with our favorite foods that we only got when we were together. As a result, baking holds some of the sweetest memories for me. ๐Ÿฉท

๐Ÿฅ–When I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease a few years ago, it flipped my life upside down. I am a self-proclaimed foodie, and I had just started my bakery. I had to take baking to completely relearn not only how to eat, but how to bake the things I loved as gluten free, which is not as easy as you might think. (If you know, you know)

๐ŸฉAfter a few years of navigating the gluten free world- and the other intolerances that come with it- I learned truly how difficult it is to find safe, gluten free food. I realized that I wasnโ€™t alone in my struggles, or my wishes for certain items to be gluten free. I decided that it was past time to do something about it and started my own bakery!

๐ŸžI make dedicated gluten, dairy, soy free & no added sugar baked goods so others with this disease- or other dietary restrictions/preferences- know they have something they can always count on that's safe for them to eat. Thatโ€™s right: our whole menu is GF/DF/SF/No Added Sugar. Always.

Having dietary restrictions can be extremely isolating and stressful, but it shouldn't be. The sense of community I have discovered & people I have connected with during this journey has been nothing short of amazing. I love meeting you all and hearing each of your stories!

If nothing else- I hope that by being here, you know you are not alone. No matter where you are in your own journey, Iโ€™m glad youโ€™re here! ๐Ÿงก

Our Story

Hey everyone!

My name is Taylor. I have always had a passion for baking and cooking for others. Ask anyone who knows me- I will bake for a crowd, just because! Food brings people together and nothing makes me happier than bringing happiness to others! I am most at peace when I am in the kitchen. Some of the best memories I have are of being in the kitchen with my grandmothers, cousins, other family members and friends. I have always dreamt of opening my own bakery- so, in 2019 I began A Sweet Life. My business is still developing, as I also currently work a full-time job. However, the hope is that I will eventually be able to pursue my passion full-time with your help! I currently offer an array of baked goods and keto-friendly options are available as well (Menu coming soon).
