This week, I’m selling baked goods to help Gio’s mom, who is currently off work to care for him full time as he bravely continues his fight with leukemia.
While I’m not a formal business, I bake when I’m able. A portion of anything I make will go toward helping her with whatever she may need right now.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: everything is baked fresh to order, so I may not always have items readily available the same day. If you place an order and I don’t already have extras on hand, I’ll have your treats ready the very next day. 🍰

💛 Reminder:
As I mentioned in a post a few days ago, this week (Monday–Saturday) I’m doing something kind of like a bake sale, but through my regular baking! A portion of every treat I sell will go to help Giovanni’s mom as she takes care of him full time during his leukemia treatment. If it goes well, I’d love to keep it going through August until she’s able to return to work.

6 year old old Giovanni was diagnosed with ALL leukemia on April 10, 2024.
His family had just moved from Florida back to Ohio, and his mom had to stop working to become his full time caregiver. Since then, it’s been a long road of hospital visits, lab draws, chemo ports, and sleepless nights, but Gio is now in maintenance and has about 18 months of treatment left.
He’s doing FANTASTIC! His smile is strong, and he’s even growing back his hair, eyebrows, and those beautiful lashes! Just last week, he needed another blood transfusion, a reminder of how ongoing and intense this journey really is.
Unfortunately, the bills haven’t stopped. Between gas for hospital trips, daily expenses, and no stable income, Gio’s mama has been doing everything she can to stay afloat while giving her son the care and strength he needs.
That’s where we come in. ❤️
Beginning next week, a portion of every cookie, cupcake, and baked good sold will go directly to help Giovanni’s mom with gas, groceries, or other essentials. I’ll be donating a portion of all sales next week (Monday–Saturday) to help support Giovanni’s family. If it goes well, I’d love to keep it going through August until his mom is back to work.
I’m not sure how many orders I’ll get since I’m just a small business, but I believe anything helps. Even one treat can make a difference for this amazing family.
