OUR STORY
Our story began when I received a family banana bread recipe from my late mother in law Barbara aka “Ma”. She knew how much I loved to cook and try new recipes. So, I started making breads for our neighbors, family, friends and church. Just for fun I started trying new varieties like chocolate chip, smores and Nutella, which everyone loved. My late Grandma Joyce enjoyed baking banana breads for the same reasons. She just loved to stop by, say hello and share them with others to put a smile on their face.
The joy of sharing my cooking with others brought back childhood memories and my dream of owning an Italian restaurant. The tradition of gathering around the table for a home cooked meal with friends and family inspired me to bring “Ma’s Banana Bread "and “Ma’s Kitchen and Catering” to life. The name does not just come from “Ma” and Grandma but also from our daughters’ names, Mia and Ava - Ma.
We invite you to take part in sharing with us, and with each other, the heart and soul of our Italian tradition and heritage, which is to enjoy the most important ingredients in life; family, friends and food.
