Here's a fun idea for Halloween treats for the baseball and softball players in your life! Decorate small pumpkin buckets (I found these at Walmart) like a ball and fill with Yippee! mini drop cookies. Kids love homemade treats and these mini chocolate chip cookies are safe for the players with celiac, plus they are so good that no one else will know they are gluten free!

Thank you all for your kind comments about my recipes and photos! You really know how to make a girl feel good!

I could use your input again, if you don't mind sharing. Along with a cookbook series, I am working on a guide for those new to eating gluten free, whether celiac, intolerant, or otherwise.

Tell me, please, what do you wish someone had told you when you were first diagnosed that would have made a difficult journey a little less stressful? How did you prepare for this life change?

I remember cleaning out the pantry (the food bank got quite a haul that month!), fridge, and freezer, then I was a little lost from there. What baking and cooking items were safe to clean and reuse? What had to go and why? What about hygiene items and cleaning products? Medications? And don't get me started on cross contamination!

Please share your thoughts, suggestions, and comments below - you may make someone else's journey a little less "panicked," and we could all benefit from a little stress reduction. Thank you so much! I appreciate you all!

I have been working on a few new recipes and wanted to ask you a question. I've been toying with the idea of a recipe ebook that would feature gluten and/or dairy free items, as well as a guide to converting recipes to be GF/DF. Would anyone be interested? For example, this Copycat GF/DF Cosmic Brownie shown below cannot be sold in my home bakery because of the ganache, but the recipe is simple, tastes great, and I'd love to share it. I don't want to write just another cookbook to sit on a shelf, this will have real recipes with simple ingredients that you can use every day. If you think this is a good idea, please let me know in the comments below. If you have any recipes you would like to see featured, please feel free to mention them below as well. Thank you!
