A surprisingly frequent question that comes up is, what to do with the decorated sugar cookies one has purchased and then the event gets postponed. The great thing about these is if your event has been postponed these cookies freeze beautifully fully decorated as long as it’s done properly. I had a customer reach out yesterday because her son’s t-ball game was canceled due to the rain. I explained proper freezing and thawing method and she’ll be all set for the next game.

I had two reasons to make a little 6 inch round, triple layer, German chocolate cake. James wanted to buy a slice of German chocolate on Sunday! Hard pass. Your girl is a baker!!! Secondly, his uncle loves German chocolate and today is his 92nd birthday. He served our country. Spent many years farming his families farm. He also, still lives at home and drives. 👏 👏
