Ugh. These things make me crazy. Another thing I leave to the professionals is cake pops. But when your nephew asks for them, I make them. (Shocking) I tried convincing him to let me make cake balls but he insisted they needed to be “on a stick.” So, here ya have it. Halloween cake pops. Check back in a year or two and I’ll maybe make them again. But not before.

So, these are definitely not the prettiest cookies I’ve ever made and honestly, not the best tasting. 😂

When your friend LOVES pickles and we secretly throw a surprise “It’s a big dill you’re retired” party I had to make dill pickle flavored sugar cookies.

I added a touch of dill pickle juice and chopped dill pickle pieces to a standard vanilla sugar cookie.

He seemed to think they were great. I however, am gonna stick to the vanilla/almond cookie.

Well, October is going to be an interesting month.
