🍞✨ I thought making sourdough would be easier than raising chickens… turns out, they both have minds of their own! 🐔😅

Deciding to add sourdough to Hailey’s Harvest has been quite the adventure—full of learning, a few hiccups, and a lot of love. What started as an experiment with flour, water, and a dash of faith has turned into something I’m excited to share with you all. 🙌

It’s far from perfect, but that’s the beauty of it—just like everything else we grow and create here at the homestead. Each loaf tells the story of balancing life, family, and finding joy in the process, even when the timing isn’t always right (thanks, ADHD and baby interruptions 😅).

These first loaves are just the beginning, and I can’t wait to bring fresh, homemade sourdough to your tables soon! 🍽️💛

Our 17 happy hens have started laying, and while we’re not quite ready to start selling, we’re getting there! 🐔🍳 Soon, we’ll be adding farm-fresh eggs to our stand, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
