Made my very first dessert table for my daughters 21st birthday!! Every dessert was made by me as well as the entire backdrop and balloon arch. It was a lot of work but so much fun to make. I may be on to something here. Lol

One of my favorite traditions in our Greek culture is the cutting of the Vasilopita. On New Year's Day families cut the vasilopita to bless the house and bring good luck for the new year. This is usually done at midnight.
The Vasilopita contains a coin in it. In our family we cut the first slice dedicated to Jesus Christ, second to the Virgin Mary, third to The Home, 4th to the poor, then the following slices is dedicated from the oldest to youngest in the family. Whoever gets the coin in their piece is said to have good luck in that year. We always looked forward to doing this every year.

Custom cakes are a lot of work. I was truly planning on taking a step back from this but it was so hard. That’s when you know you love doing what you do. So I’m back!!! But now I am focusing on Custom Cakes and Cupcakes only. Will also continue my popular cookies.
