I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for all the love and support Soil to Sweet has received since I launched. Y'all have kept me booked and busy and I have LOVED every second of it!! I've had the best time creating bakes and sharing them with you all.

As summer is coming to an end, I have decided to close my books as I take time to focus on growing Soil to Sweet in new ways. I’m working on taking steps to further the sustainable side of my business and work towards a mission that’s more community and charity focused. None of these new directions would be possible without the support you’ve given me, it has really made all the difference.

Exciting things are ahead, and I can’t wait to share them with you soon!! 🌿🍯

13 YEARS AGO!? HOW?!

Made this for my little brother’s birthday….who is not so little anymore 😭 it was so much fun! I think this is around the time where I was nicknamed “the cupcake queen” 😂

These are vanilla (and chocolate maybe??) cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. No alligator in the ingredients,I promise!

It’s been a little wild over here… heat waves and buttercream definitely don’t mix 😅 Please check in on your local bakers this week..... we’re not okay LOL!

However, when your nephew asks for a “robot-dinosaur” cake for his 4th birthday...well...you pivot to the dinosaur part and bake a T-Rex instead 🦖😅A true labor of love, and worth every minute to see his face light up!

🦞 FATHER’S DAY SPECIAL 🦞

Growing up, when my family would spend our summers in Maine, my dad would head out early in the morning with the lobstermen to pull traps. By dinnertime, we’d be cracking into fresh lobster right out of the ocean.

When I saw a cake like this from another baker, it immediately reminded me of those summers and my dad’s love for a good Maine lobster. So I made my own version for Father’s Day and wanted to share it with you too.

Vanilla cake layered & textured with vanilla buttercream, topped with fresh strawberries (serves about 8 people)— a sweet, playful nod to all the New England summers and the dads who make them special.

I made these mini vanilla bento cakes for a few of my girlies and I couldn’t help but think how perfect they’d be as end-of-school-year gifts for teachers & coaches, or anyone who’s made your days a little brighter 💛 (GF available ofcourse🙌🏻)

Each one is packaged in an eco-friendly pulp berry basket — a simple, earth-friendly way to gift beautifully without the waste. 🌿✨ Sustainability is a huge part of my heart and my baking, and I’m always looking for ways to make things a little kinder to the planet while still keeping them pretty as can be. 🌸
