The Kitchen Table was at one time included into a new business, Square Books, located at 113 East Main Street, Manchester. A few years late, Square Books was sold and its name changed to Homeschool Station. Since then, this business has permanently closed.

However, there remains a good selection of homeschool curriculum and fiction for children, youth, and adults. These books, property of Linda Reed, are located at her home in Hillsboro (Coffee Co) Tn. If you would like to see these books, please contact me at (931) 273-9708 or at [email protected] . I'll be glad to show them to you, and to share them with you. I would appreciate a small donation to help defray the remaining debt of the closed bookstore, but donations are never required.

Please spread the word to help me rehome these good used books to homeschoolers and to the general public.

The Kitchen Table has been included within the used bookstore Square Books, located at 113 East Main Street, Manchester. We are open the following hours:

Monday 1 to 5 pm
Tuesday 10 am to 5 pm
Wednesday 10 am to 5 pm
Thursday 10 am to 5 pm
Friday 10 am to 1 pm
Every other Saturday 9 am to 1 pm

The above are our school year hours, which will be in effect till June 1. Please see our page at Square Books for our new summer hours and activities.

Still looking for a good location for this business. If anyone knows of a building for rent in Manchester, please call our attention to it. I can't really tell you what we're looking for, but we will know it when we see it. :-) Thanks for helping!

Watch for our grand re-opening after we get moved to our new location! Coming Soon! Meanwhile, gather up your books and handmade items for consignment. Don't forget to visit us *first* for all your homeschooling needs, as well as books "just for fun." And oh! Those baked goodies from Doorstep Bakery are sure to make your mouth water!

We have some really nice Christmas gifts at a very good price. And you can't beat the fresh-baked goodies Rita Munn brings in. No regular hours, but call us and we will be glad to open so you can browse.

My friend Cathy Jaime at Creative Learning Connection in Huntsville has some bookcases for the store! And maybe some books of which she has duplicates! But the present store is full to the brim... No problem, she's going on a month's vacation, & we will deal with these bookcases after mid-January. That will be just about right, when we are settled in our new place. :-) Isn't God good???
