NEW THIS WEEKEND: SOURDOUGH BREAD FLIGHTS

I’ve been wanting to try something a little different, so this weekend we’re introducing Sourdough Bread Flights at The Manchester Community Market!

Each flight includes three mini artisan loaves, approximately 225 g each:

* Rustic Sourdough
* Caramelized Onion & Smoked Gouda
* Triple Chocolate Espresso

$15 per flight

I’m planning to make these primarily by preorder, so if you want to be sure you get one, send me a message and I’ll have it ready for you to pick up at the market Saturday morning.

I’ll also have a very limited number available for cash & carry, but once they’re gone, they’re gone!

It’s a fun way to try three of our sourdough flavors without taking home three full-size loaves.

What a great way to wrap up August! After all that rain in July, it was such a relief to have a beautiful month of markets!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, supported Sweet Cravings, bought bread and treats, stopped by to say hello, and kept coming back week after week. You all make this little bakery dream so much fun!

We’ve got one more month of the Manchester Community Market before we wrap up the regular market season, and then it’s on to Old Timers Day!

I’m already looking forward to all the fall flavors coming your way next week!

A little local love baked right into today’s loaf. 🍯

This week’s Honey Oat Sourdough was made with local honey from ArBees’ Apiary, and today I brought the bread right back to where that delicious honey came from!

There’s just something extra special about using ingredients made by our own local community. Sweet, hearty, and full of that wholesome honey flavor.

A friend challenged me… and I couldn’t resist.

She challenged me to create a Lemon Poppyseed Sweet Roll, and there was no way I was saying no—especially because this is the same friend who gifted me my very first sourdough starter.

I’ve been wanting to squeeze in one more summer flavor before we officially turn the corner into fall, and I think we found her.

Lemon Poppyseed Sweet Rolls
Soft sourdough sweet roll dough filled with lemon poppyseed butter and ribbons of homemade lemon curd, then finished with a bright lemon cream cheese icing.

Fresh, bright, buttery and just the right amount of sweet. And after tasting them… I think this little experiment was a VERY good idea.

So here she is—one last taste of summer before the fall flavors make their debut.

Lemon Poppyseed will be at the market tomorrow!

We’re sending August out with all the summer flavors you’ve been loving at the market, but next week… fall officially arrives at Sweet Cravings!

I’ve been thinking about something…

My daughter has been after me for a while to make her some sourdough bread, so today I split a batch and made her a little bread flight — a Rustic and a Red, White & Blue. They’re smaller loaves, around 470g each, and it got me thinking…

Would anyone be interested in a Sweet Cravings Sourdough Flight?

I’m thinking three smaller loaves in one box:

• One Rustic/classic
• One savory flavor
• One sweet or specialty flavor

It would be a fun way to try a few different flavors without committing to three full-size loaves!

I’m just throwing the idea out there for now… Would this be something you’d be interested in seeing at the market?
