I’m going to have 3 sourdough loafs ready tomorrow afternoon if anyone is interested! $10 for a plain loaf. If you want any inclusions let me know and those will be $13. Some ideas: Jalapeño and Cheddar, cinnamon and sugar, maple and brown sugar, chocolate chip…….. just let me know 😊

Hi everyone!! I have been on a little hiatus from baking! We have been doing a lot of home renovations this year and family/medical/life happenings!! I appreciate all of the love, people checking in on me and new followers on my business page! I am not ready to dive back into making the very fancy detailed cakes, but I wanted to reach out and see if there was any interest from anyone in cupcakes or pies for Christmas? I would make up a pre-order list and post it here. You can pick what you would like and be added to the preorder list and pick up the day before Christmas or the day before your event. I will most likely offer theme decorated cupcakes, pies and maybe even cheesecake? I am even open to suggestions on desserts!! I also thought about maybe some real sourdough dinner rolls and a sourdough loaf with a butter candle. (If sourdough is not your thing regular can be made as well) Just throwing a few things out there to get a feel for if/what to offer! I hope everyone has a great day!

PSA: lol
There was a recent post in a Manchester group page asking for recommendations for a cake with an inspiration photo(s). I was tagged in it by a couple friends (thank you ❤️). This is more of a PSA post. This photo that they used as a reference photo of what they want made is an AI generated photo. Not an actual cake. Can a cake like this be done, of course, as PERFECT, probably not…. With thousands of AI generated photos of cakes going around, people need to understand that while many bakers may be able to pull of a cake like this, you can NOT expect it to look like this flawless “cake” photo. There is no such thing as a flawless handcrafted cake!! I don’t think I have ever made a cake I was absolutely 100% happy with. We all go back and wish this it could have looked a little better, a little smoother, I wish I would have done this just a little different …. Etc
Just keep that in mind when you are looking for an elaborate designed cake….. please. I see some really horrible reviews for bakers and when I look at the cakes they made I think they look amazing….. but sometimes people’s expectations are unachievable! Should some bakers turn down cakes because their skill set is just not there.. absolutely YES! I have turned down cakes because I was not 100% confident I could pull it off. Anyway….. I don’t know how to end this lol so that is all bye! ❤️ thank you to everyone who has ever ordered a cake from me!!! 🥰

I just wanted to wish everyone an amazing Christmas holiday!! I hope everyone is able to spend some time with families and just relax and enjoy!! We had our annual Xmas eve get together filled with loads of Chinese food!!! Today we relax in the morning with the fur children, and enjoy more family time with a nice prime rib dinner! Would love to hear how everyone celebrates in the comments!!! And thank you to everyone who has supported my business this year! I appreciate you all!!
