There was a recent post in a Manchester group page asking for recommendations for a cake with an inspiration photo(s). I was tagged in it by a couple friends (thank you ❤️). This is more of a PSA post. This photo that they used as a reference photo of what they want made is an AI generated photo. Not an actual cake. Can a cake like this be done, of course, as PERFECT, probably not…. With thousands of AI generated photos of cakes going around, people need to understand that while many bakers may be able to pull of a cake like this, you can NOT expect it to look like this flawless “cake” photo. There is no such thing as a flawless handcrafted cake!! I don’t think I have ever made a cake I was absolutely 100% happy with. We all go back and wish this it could have looked a little better, a little smoother, I wish I would have done this just a little different …. Etc
Just keep that in mind when you are looking for an elaborate designed cake….. please. I see some really horrible reviews for bakers and when I look at the cakes they made I think they look amazing….. but sometimes people’s expectations are unachievable! Should some bakers turn down cakes because their skill set is just not there.. absolutely YES! I have turned down cakes because I was not 100% confident I could pull it off. Anyway….. I don’t know how to end this lol so that is all bye! ❤️ thank you to everyone who has ever ordered a cake from me!!! 🥰

I just wanted to wish everyone an amazing Christmas holiday!! I hope everyone is able to spend some time with families and just relax and enjoy!! We had our annual Xmas eve get together filled with loads of Chinese food!!! Today we relax in the morning with the fur children, and enjoy more family time with a nice prime rib dinner! Would love to hear how everyone celebrates in the comments!!! And thank you to everyone who has supported my business this year! I appreciate you all!!

This cake was a 6”, 4 layer death by chocolate! A rich chocolate cake with an even richer dark chocolate buttercream filling, covered in vanilla buttercream! A friend ordered this for a great friend of hers that was visiting from out of state!

Here is a 6”, 3 layer French Toast cake with homemade caramel sauce filling and caramel buttercream with a few behind the scenes photos of making the cake! Happy 2nd Birthday Braley!! Her favorite little stuffed animal is a pink fuzzy Llama so we had to incorporate that into her Bluey cake! I hope she loves it!

This was an 8” 4 layer carrot cake with cheese cake cream filling and vanilla buttercream! I too, am obsessed with Highland Cows! I want a few minis of my own!!!!

Hi everyone!! Have been a little MIA with a lot going on!! Will be posting some pictures in the next couple days of some recent cakes! I wanted to put this out there with everyone and if you can share, let someone know to get the word out I would be so appreciative! If you know anyone who has a little one that is turning ONE, I am offering photoshoot smash cakes for $20 (extra if they want it very decorative). The only thing I would ask in return for the lower rate would be one of the professional photos that I could use on my social media accounts! The photo can be just the cake, or the child with the cake. Whatever they are comfortable with! More than one photo would be a bonus! Any questions let me know!!! This is a smash cake that was done for the cutest little boy and his Winnie the Pooh photoshoot!! Thank you Holdfast Photography for the awesome photo!!

It’s not to often I get to make “regular” cakes lol. No frills or big theme decor (which I 💗 doing). I am making 2 this week!!! Here is the first one! This is a Chocolate Almond Drip Cake! 4 layers of rich chocolate cake, with an almond cream filling and real almond buttercream with a chocolate drip. And I got a picture of the inside when they cut into it. I love seeing the inside of the cakes! Happy 55th Birthday Heather!

Thank you to everyone who has followed my page 😁 Close to 100 now!!!! I am still getting the hang of working in the business on Social Media (i also have an IG and TikTok acct). I will announce a drawing with everyone who follows my page when I reach 100 followers !!!! Maybe some cupcakes, or a cute little themed cake?? Any and all help to get there would be greatly appreciated!!!! I appreciate you all more than you know!!!!! Here are some pictures of just some of the crazy things I get to do as a cake designer to personalize things for a cake 😂. I purchased a Bratz type “barbie” doll and she needed shorter brown wavy hair…. Dimples, a nose ring and better clothes and shoes!! So I chopped the hair, colored it, curled it with toothpicks and bobby pins…. Melted dimples into her cheeks, gave her a nose ring, made her a dress (see awful clothes it came with lol) and painted her some Vans sneakers!! Pics of the cake coming soon!!

So I want to start offering a couple new items and had a question for everyone. I would like to start making easy cake items for parties/events for people that would like cake, but don’t want anything fancy, and don’t want to have to deal with pulling themselves away from the party to cut the cake which can get pretty stressful and messy sometimes lol. I would like to start making cake sandwiches and cake tacos! I will have to do some testing until I find what works perfect for what I am wanting! If I am making test products and when they are done, post and offer them here on this FB page for a discounted price would that be of interest to anyone?
* cake sandwiches are exactly what they sound like lol I will make a sheet cake and cut the cake in triangles and add buttercream in the middle… they will be wrapped in plastic wrap and come in brown cardboard sandwich boxes.
* cake tacos will be a thin slice of cake, coated with chocolate or white chocolate on one side, then set into a taco shell shape. Then will be filled with buttercream, candy, fruit, sauces whtever the theme or flavor is! Let me know any thoughts, questions, suggestions of flavors you LOVE!!! I don’t have an idea on pricing just yet but putting out some feelers!! Thanks everyone 💗

Made another birthday cake for the most adorable little girl! Clara turns 6!! Happy Birthday Clara!!!! This is an 8” - 4 layer chocolate cake filled with edible cookie dough and vanilla buttercream! I almost wanted to keep the Unicorn topper myself 😂

Made a VERY funfetti cake for Trevor for his actual birthday! (The same boy who got the Pikachu Vader cake). He gets this same exact cake made every year for his actual birthday “day” and I think that is such an awesome tradition!!!
