What’s a cottage bakery?

The short answer is it’s a bakery ran from someone’s home, rather than a commercial kitchen!

Cottage bakeries should still have food safety knowledge and experience in kitchen, which I do!
I have been cooking and baking since I was a child, so it has now been about 20 years.

What makes cottage bakeries worth it?

I love being a cottage bakery because although I can’t make as many orders as a commercial bakery, I personally interact with each and every inquiry. That is why I call all my customers “clients”, because since I talk to everyone, I get to know all of you! It’s similar to a consultation for every order because I get to personally understand every detail of your order and recommend what works best for your event AND your budget. You’re getting what you pay for!

I have seen kids’ birthday cakes come to life, been gender secret-keepers, and couples go from engagement cakes to baby announcement cakes!
