This was one of the most complicated cakes I have made to date. It was a charity Auction cake for JordanCon.
The Design was inspired by a Wheel of Time print by Illustrater Edsel Arnold Titled: Valan Luca's grand Traveling Show. Edsel often uses architectural design elements in his artwork. For this peice mainly ART Deco, Art nuveau, and the starry sky seems to be a depiction of a Gothic church ceiling.
I had dreamed of soo much more for this cake. The animals, an additional scene or two on the back but of course time, as always was a constraint. The cake was purchased by Dragonmount and was generously shared with congoers.
