We will be taking a little break this weekend so our team can enjoy a little time off & decompress. We will be closing a little early on Friday and then closing for the long weekend until reopening Tuesday January 3rd to kick off 2023!

Did you know that a true, classically crafted Mai Tai is a far cry from the fruity, sickly sweet drink you'll often find served today. In fact the only juice in a true Mai Tai is fresh lime juice. Check out my preferred Mai Tai specs below. 🥃
"Mai Tai"
2oz rum (preferably an aged Jamaican)
.75oz fresh lime juice
.50oz orange curacao
.25oz orgeat (almond syrup)
.25oz demerara syrup (2:1 demerara sugar/water)
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice for 12-15 seconds. Strain into a double old fashioned glass and fill with crushed ice (or just serve with the shaking ice if you prefer - we call that a dirty dump!) Garnish with a sprig of mint positioned right next to your straw for optimal aromatic experience. Tip - give the mint a little slap first to release its oils. Cheers!
