🍋 the drug addicts and homeless people of the boston area are not getting the love and care that they need to survive and thrive. simply speaking as a struggling artist/student/commuter/young woman, i have already have every day fears for my safety due to the changing climate and extreme temperatures. this morning in boston, it went (in the span of an hour) from 70 degrees, humid, windy, and raining to roughly 85 degrees and sweltering hot. as many studies have shown, our society is on the brink of collapse due to these extreme weather conditions and the ever-increasing opioid, fentanyl, benzo, co***ne, + various other drugs epidemic (prescription and otherwise). therefore, something must be done to save the people that are alive now, RIGHT NOW.

This is why i plan to launch the K*A*R*initiative. This will be a system of personalized care packages targeted for specific endangered individuals. I will be curating gift bags that include a variety of eco-friendly personal-care related items at any and every opportunity that i can feasibly afford at the time, and i implore anyone and everyone that sees my message takes that opportunity as well.

Today’s suggested care package:
📦personal hygiene items (disposable eco friendly sani wipes by , pure tampons by , spray-on deodorant, vegan/allergen free chapstick/sunscreen, a handful of ibuprofen, (x2) sturdy-sustainable plastic bags and water bottles)
📦stamina items (half of a sandwich preferably vegan and allergen free by , triple-shot sweet vanilla oat milk latte by , yogurt by , (x1) sustainable-plastic wear, NARCAN, resource list)
📦don’t be intimidated by the number of items i was able to purchase. i was paid this morning and this entire initiative was a spur of the moment decision. simply grabbing an ice water or two from your nearest coffee shop and writing out a researched resource list can be the act of kindness someone needs to get help.
