It's hard to believe we’ve arrived at the final bake week of Smith & Sons very first season. 🤎

What started with a simple artisan country loaf turned into baking for so many wonderful families in our community.

This season has been fun, humbling, and far more meaningful than I ever expected. Thank you all for supporting this little home bakery with so much enthusiasm and kindness week after week. I will genuinely miss seeing your smiling faces at pickup over the summer months! ☀️

✨ SPECIAL RELEASE ✨

With just two more weeks left in Smith & Sons Bakery’s very first season, we decided to pull out all the stops and bring back one of the most requested bakes we’ve ever offered… 🤎

CINNAMON BABKA MINIS 🍞✨

Sweet enriched dough braided with a buttery cinnamon-sugar filling, baked until beautifully golden, and finished with a homemade sugar glaze. These little loaves are soft, tender, swirled with sticky cinnamon goodness, and perfect for gifting, sharing, or enjoying with your morning coffee. ☕🤍

Because babka is a labor-intensive bake, we rarely get to offer it — so this week we’re simplifying the menu and focusing entirely on this special release in hopes of making more available for everyone who has been asking for them all season long!

It's back! Our pain de mie is a soft, everyday loaf — perfect for sandwiches, toast, and easy meals throughout the week. A true Smith & Sons staple.

We've been working on sourdough-based cakes for special events, and this week we're offering slices as a little preview. A simple, lightly sweet treat to add onto your order if you’d like something extra.

🤍 Thank You, Smith & Sons Friends 🤍

This week’s bakes were a joy to bring together — thank you to everyone who placed an order and made Breadfest so special for our little bakery.

We had the best time in the kitchen prepping all the details that went into your boxes… from laminating buttery croissants to mixing and folding in some really beautiful inclusions.

The fig + walnut loaves were filled with rich, jammy figs and toasted walnuts with a dash of black pepper, and the caramelized onion, gouda & herb loaves… the smell alone was worth it 🤤

Weeks like this are extra special — a full kitchen, full racks, and getting to share our love of bread with such a supportive community.

We’re grateful for you 🤍

🌿 Just a quick note — we’ll be closed next week for a family vacation, but will be back the following week with our regular schedule!

This week at Smith & Sons, we're celebrating our love of baking with our first annual Breadfest — a special, limited bake week featuring a curated bakery box filled with a mix of sweet and savory favorites.

Hot cross buns are a traditional Easter favorite — soft, lightly spiced, a touch sweet, and studded with raisins and currents.

We're moving our pick-up day to Friday this week, which means everything will be fresh and ready for your Easter weekend!

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Menu is Live! 🍀

With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, this week’s menu has a cozy Irish-inspired twist!

This week we're introducing Irish Brown Bread — a hearty, rustic loaf made with whole wheat flour and oats, traditionally served warm with plenty of salted butter and a little marmalade. It’s the perfect addition to a St. Patrick’s Day table!

Also this week: Guinness chocolate cookies with Irish cream glaze for a festive treat, along with the always-available country artisan loaf.
