✨COOKING WITH KAYLA✨

TACOS:
1. In a pan on medium high heat, add a tablespoon of your oil and your ground beef and cook until done or brown throughout. Reduce the heat to medium low and add your seasoning packet (follow the instructions on the packet). Remove from heat and set aside.

PAN-FRY:
2. In a pan on medium heat, add your oil to the pan until it is about 1/4in deep for shallow frying. Using a high smoke point oil like avocado oil is best for frying! To avoid seed oils, I use avocado or EVOO. The oil will be ready once it reached 350-375°F. Turn the heat down if the oil starts to burn! *NOTE: I added wayyy too much in the video because I was looking through the camera lol*
3. Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave for 1 minute.
4. Assemble 4 tacos at a time, keeping the remaining tortillas wrapped in the paper towel. I do one heaping spoonful of beef and cheese for each taco. It will make about 14-16 tacos.
5. Gently place 4 tacos at a time into your hot oil and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
6. Remove your tacos from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined tray to soak up the excess oil.
7. Serve with fresh lime wedges and your preferred toppings

OVEN INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. Brush both sides of your tortillas with oil, add your beef and cheese, fold them, and place onto your prepared sheet pan.
3. Bake until golden brown, flipping your tacos halfway through. Roughly 15-25min.

RICE:
1. Wash your rice under water until the water turns clear
2. Add 1.25 cups of water and 1 cup of rice to a pot, along with 1 teaspoon of salt and bring to a simmer uncovered. Once the water starts simmering, reduce the heat to low and cook covered for 15 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat and allow the rice to rest for 10 more minutes with the lid ON.
4. Add the juice of 1/2-1 lime (depending on how much you like) and a good pinch of chopped cilantro from your bunch.
5. Stir and serve.

CILANTRO LIME CREMA:
1. To a blender, add your mayo, Greek yogurt, the juice of 2 limes, a handful of cilantro, and salt and pepper to taste.
2. Blend until creamy and serve.
