Since holidays are around the corner, here are your reminders.
❤️TIPS FOR ORDERING AT HOLIDAYS❤️
1. When I make a post opening up for holidays, do not just comment “1 dz cakes”. With every order I take, I need to know what you want to order, the amount you are wanting, the day you want to pick up, what time you plan to pick up and your cell phone number. If you don’t want to give all that info in a comment, message it to me. Your order is not complete until I thank you for your order. I have had people message me the day of their order and say “did I get put on your list”? If you didn’t get that final thanks for your order, then no. I have to have all the details before you are put down. Also, we do not allow variations on holiday orders. They are all decorated the same.
Because we can literally get to his limit in an hour sometimes or less for certain days, I shut off orders for each day as soon as he tells me no more orders on that day. You may think “I ordered 30 minutes after you posted”. You may have but keep in mind I have orders coming through via texts, comments and private messages which I try to take in order that I receive them. It’s a lot to deal with and can get overwhelming. I do the best I can to be fair and accurate but I work a part-time job plus take orders for him so please give me some grace.
2. A pick up appointment is not “11:30ish, around 2, “about 10”, that morning, etc. I ask for a pick up time because otherwise I am stuck at home waiting on someone to pick up. If you find you are going to be late, please be courteous enough to reach out to me so together we can come up with another time. I try to reach out to find out if you are on your way. I typically will send repeated messages. I will send a final message letting you know that I am posting your order for sale to someone else. It only takes a minute to reply to me and let me know why you haven’t picked up. My time is as valuable as your time. I try to be kind and courteous to everyone, please extend the same to me. Sometimes maybe you order and then realize you are short on funds that week. I completely understand. You just need to communicate with me.
3. If you only comment what you want but include no details, I will need to message you to get all the rest of the info. You may have commented right after I posted but you don’t get put on our calendar until I have all your info and have said “Thank you for your order”. Make sure you answer my message promptly. Some have missed out on an order completely even though they commented quickly because they gave no details and because they don’t message me back quickly. I have had people not get back to me for a day or longer. Many times they missed out on their order. Holiday orders fill up super quick! Please remember he is the only one baking and he can only do so much.
5. We appreciate you all so much and I hope this helps you make sure you get on the calendar. I always go in order of comments as I see them but if I don’t hear from you after so much time you will lose your spot.
