Sizzling Kitchen Cook is responsible for cooking Asian and Italian cuisine dishes to order while providing superior guest service by ensuring the quality of food. Duties include preparation and cooking of all dishes according to restaurant’s recipes, handles routine cleaning,helps with keeping work area neat, clean and organized.
* Culinary training is preferred
Experience & Requirements:
* Prior experience cooking Asian or Italian dishes, prep cooking and pantry cooking
* Must have experience in sautéed and frying
* Must be capable of working on as many as 20 orders at one time
* Must be able to effectively coordinate cooking times with coworkers
Requirements:
* Ability to stand for longer than 8 hours
* Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
* Must be knowledgeable with food preparation and temperatures
* Must be able to work Saturday

Just an update! Our A/C has been broken for two weeks now! The parts are old and discontinued. It’s estimated that it will take a month to get repaired.
So… it’s quiet warm in the restaurant depending on the temperature of the day! We will allow anyone, who chooses to sit in. Just know, we don’t have A/C, just fans!
We will operate as normal. In the event that it is too hot to sit in, we will closed DINE-IN but take out and delivery will still be available!

As for today, Friday July 22nd, we are operating as normal, however, it is cautioned that the dining room is quiet warm if you choose to dine in!

The variety of restaurants in is one of the reasons I love this city, as I was reminded when I recently had lunch at Sizzling Kitchen. Great chatting with owner Loc Nguyen. What are your favorite restaurants in the city?
I am sorry, but I am never coming back. Yesterday I had an extremely difficult day, and thought a good way to unwind would be to come eat there and enjoy your stone pot bibimbap. I arrived at 8:24 with my daughter, and you would not seat us, because you closed at 9 PM.
While I think it's OK to start winding down and prepping to close, if you advertise that you are OPEN UNTIL 9, you should be SERVING until 9. If you think 9 PM is late and you and your staff want to be home at 9, advertise that you CLOSE or STOP serving at 8 PM, to give yourself an hour to wrap up.
YOU SHOULD NOT SET MY EXPECTATIONS OF BEING OPEN TO 9 and then TURN ME AWAY when I arrive 35 minutes before closing time...
PS you never even offered us takeout.
NEVER EVER spending another one of my hard earned dollars in your restaurant.

It’s the final day of school for our Lowell students! We are proud of our students for making it through a challenging year. During the past 3 months of quarantine, we had to adapt to eLearning through activities such as the virtual career explorations. We’re grateful to have hosted 4 of them in partnership with Project LEARN, Inc. Special shout outs to Jordan and Shamir, PALS and Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell 😊
