Hello everyone, I just wanted to say please understand that I’m self taught and choose not to work with fondant for clients until I can perfect my craft. I am taking classes for the fondant even though I can learn on my own like I have everything else but I really really REALLY dislike fondant. That doesn’t mean I do not use icing images. The photo you see on my black Morticia Cake is edible icing images… pretty much a huge sheet of icing you can print on and it can go on fondant or directly on the cake. I appreciate everyone’s business and understand the confusion but I do not feel comfortable working with fondant just yet. Thank you for being patient 🏽
Different angles but this was the top tier I cut. This is def a chocolate lovers cake! I Forgot to post yesterday but this is what the inside looks like. I noticed the top tier isn’t as black as the bottom tier. More dye next time for sure.
Happy Birthday to me! My birthday was on Tuesday but celebrated this weekend! I love my cake! I’m proud of how it turned out I messed up some of the balls but I can fix those. Those types of sprinkles hated me for the top 😂 I edited the post and the picture disappeared… that’s why you see this duplicated

Please do not ask me to make cakes that are not in the price range you are looking for. I understand that everyone can’t always spend what some cakes are worth but being reasonable is always a must. I can not make a cake that looks like this for $150 let alone a 5 tier cake 😒 I have tried so many times to be patient and understanding but I feel like I’m being taken advantage of. There’s plenty of other bakery’s that will accommodate your requests but I will not! I do not appreciate this kind of behavior and would love to help everyone out if I could but sometimes I just have to say no!
Thank you to everyone who is taking the two mins out of their day to leave reviews under my review section. Believe it or not, it does make a huge difference. I don’t post a lot of videos because I don’t like making reels and all that stuff but apparently it’s what people want lol going to be doing a few videos soon. Maybe I will decide to do a giveaway of a different type of cake I haven’t made before. I’m thinking an orange creamsicle cake will be coming soon.

Ferrero Trío inspired cake I was working on. So glad this one came out ok cause my first coconut layer I forgot to spray with cake release but this turned out amazing! I did accidentally use salted butter 🙄 but it’s ok, I was told it was still good lol dark chocolate does NOT pair well with salted butter lol the middle had actual pieces of the Ferrero candy and was an almond cheesecake filling with a bit of Nutella whipped cream too.
Cleaning up a roof leak that’s continuing to leak all day and night was exhausting and now I’m suppose to do some test run mini bundts and a couple cakes and this set me behind HOURS! the amount of things that want to fly out of my mouth at the moment are absurd but I’m def keeping my cool and praying for a better outcome cause 🙄😒…..
For a customer who just wanted plain vanilla cupcakes with standard icing and nothing fancy.
So the icing was a bit warmer than expected. I’m not able to shut off my heater for whatever reason, my thermostat isn’t allowing it even on 0 my house is almost at 90 Degrees even before the baking, it’s horrible so my icing and all my chocolate has melted 🙄 and I just bought that Callebaut chocolate, it’s expensive! I did place them in freezer to firm up for 10 mins before transport cause that always solidifies the frosting in place but before it did you can see what happened 🥺 but my customer was not phased at all. I believe she said she liked these better than the Tripoli cupcakes
I noticed I layered this one different than the last one BUT to be fair it was a smaller cake. Finishing up those cupcakes cause I didn’t get to work on them yesterday like I was suppose to.
A cake I made for a customer that didn’t get picked up, so instead of throwing it away (because we don’t like wasting food over here) I decided to donate the cake because the deposit was already paid for. This is another reminder for anyone that orders to be mindful of the dates you set for pick up. I do not inbox customers and notify them when an order is ready. I apologize for the inconvenience it has caused anyone but I can not store a cake for more than 24 hours unless it’s an emergency. This cake was stored for 72 before I decided to donate it as the outside cream is homemade whipped cream and would not keep its shape for another 24 hours. Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me and realizes that I’m not trying to be impolite or unkind. I am running a small business out of my home and still need to be as professional as possible.

Reminder, because I don’t like sounding mean and I don’t mean to be rude please believe me, but If you place an order with me and already paid the deposit, but passed the time limit for your item to be picked up, and it’s been here over 24 hours after the pick up time, you have lost the deposit and the item. I will not remake the cake for you later or anything. This is why I tell people please be wise about the choices you make when you set appointments for orders and pay them but don’t pick up. I do post directions and I do post consequences for forgotten orders. The product goes to waste. This is why I secure a deposit. I love all my customers but I can not take that kind of hit and I can’t store your cake in my fridge for longer than that as I have other orders and customers and do not yet have an actual cake fridge for storage. Being a single mom is hard but it’s nothing compared to all the obstacles standing in your way if you allow them to. I thought I wasn’t going to have the time to bake and paint and play and do all the things I loved doing and have my household in order and I recently learned that, that isn’t true at all. I chose to take the time and make the effort for the things that mattered most to me in life and I’m realizing now, that’s all that is worth it in the end. Peace!
Set up an appointment to look into buying a house with the bank so wish me luck! Might go back to college and finish my courses as well. There’s a crap load of things that need to be looked at before I can even consider it but I’m on my way. Credit score is almost at 700 so I’m definitely wanting better for my kids and their future. I don’t know how I can achieve all this and run a business from home but I sure will try
Excited and nervous about this cake 🙄 I haven’t done anything as pretty before so I’m definitely nervous. Still pretty bad with fondant too so that sucks. I love making cakes I just don’t like working with fondant and it’s going to legit ruin me so I need to try harder. Making some Vanilla Bean Cupcakes today as well.

Everything has been going lovely, but now, my thermostat isn’t working so my heater isn’t on but hopefully the oven can circulate some heat cause my baby has a runny nose from how cold it’s been inside. All orders for Saint Patrick’s day are closed! I can’t express enough that orders need to be put in at least a week In Advance and the deposit needs to be paid once we talk about it. If I don’t have a deposit, you don’t have a cake or sweets from me. I’m not going to be able to make orders the same day you want them it’s just not something I do. I’ve had this talk with a few people already and I can’t keep repeating myself. I’m getting accustomed to an electric stove which I have never really had before so this is another challenge standing in my way. This page will be shut down and I will be opening a new one tailored more towards customer service. Please be patient and understand I do want, and appreciate your business, but there’s a way we do things here and I can’t crack out orders in less than 24 hours guys.
