Thanks for stopping by Sweet June Bakery! My name is Preston Fouts, I own and operate Sweet June Bakery out of my home in Louisville, Kentucky!
I am blessed beyond what I deserve to be a mom of two incredible boys, and the wife to my husband who puts up with all my adventures in life. After graduating from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Art Education, I quickly entered the corporate world of sales and completely surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it. As much as I love my career, I have been searching for a constant creative outlet all these years to help stretch that side of my brain.
Enter: Sweet June
In 2017 we added another sweet baby to our beautifully chaotic house. While on maternity leave, in an effort to get out of the house, my friend and I took a cookie class with a very cool new group called Level Up. For years I had been envious of the beautiful sugar cookies I saw on social media and in magazines. I have always wanted to learn but never had the time or proper icing recipe. I went into the class with the motive to learn a fun new skill, possibly save money on ordering cookies in the future by making them myself, have a glass of wine and laugh with my friend. I never imagined that six months later I would be operating a successful side hustle decorating cookies, and teaching classes of my own!

For inquiring minds. June is the beautifully happy lady in the photos with me. I have the great pleasure of calling her Grandmom. She is by biggest fan, best example of a mom and the one who taught me to bake all those years ago. I don’t have a legacy of a daughter to give her name to, so the next best thing is the name of my business. She deserves so much more, but this way I am reminded of my sweet June on a daily basis.
Sweet June Bakery came to be in 2017. Originally I created the page as a means to organize the orders I was receiving from family and friends who saw my cookie creations on Instagram. I never imagined that by creating that page, it would have developed into a booming business in a few short months. I have loved every second of this adventure and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Sweet June!
