I was going through my photos obviously because my phone memory is full and I was trying to free some space and came along this photo which brought so many good memories… In my family we call these “grandma’s cookies” my aunt would bake those Friday nights so that they would be ready for us to take along to our summer house for the week end. She would keep them in a big pot in the inbuilt cupboard and as kids we would sneak and devour these delicious butter cookies… childhood memories are the most cherished.
