Agosto es el Mes de la Herencia Africana en Centroamérica, una conmemoración que honra el legado histórico, cultural y social de los pueblos afrodescendientes.

En El Salvador, desde 2020, Fundación Afrodescendientes Organizados Salvadoreños impulsó esta conmemoración para abrir un espacio permanente de memoria, reconocimiento y orgullo afrodescendiente.

Hoy seguimos construyendo un país que reconozca todas las raíces que lo conforman.

NEW RECIPE "CURTIDO DIP"

Hey my beautiful gente!! Coming to you all with a new recipe & hope you'll enjoy. 😋

-8 Oz. Vegan cream cheese
-1 tbs vegan sour cream
-1 tbs vinegar
-1/2 cup finely shredded cabbage
-1/2 cup finely shredded carrots
-2 tbs minced onion
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp dried oregano
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1/2 tsp onion powder
-1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:
-Combine cream cheese, sour cream, vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well till smooth.
-In another bowl, combine cabbage, onion and carrots
-Gently fold vegetables to cream cheese mixture till blended well.
Put in a well closed lid container and enjoy after 2 hour un fridge or next day. Since it has vinegar, the tanginess comes out better next day. Buen Provecho! 😊

48 round trips around the sun y'all!! 😉😜🥳 Uff has it been something else. Lessons back to back, ups & downs but overall lessons. I know I've mentioned that I would be back up & running the interwebs socials but life be lifing & gotta do what I gotta do. In survival mode at the moment... but coming back soon with content. I am experimenting with some recipes so as a gift to you all I will bring that to you next week. 😉 Miss you all & here's to another trip in the books.Un abrazo fuerte to you all! 🤗 (I got off work at 4 a.m. so I'll be 😴😴 till late.. to go back for another graveyard shift 😪 but I'll get back to y'all.)
