Longview friends, the votes are in… THURSDAYS are our new weekly bread drop day!

🕠 Time: 5:30 PM
📍 Location: Drug Emporium parking lot, Longview

Every loaf is made with fresh milled flour from organic, glyphosate-free, non-GMO grains, milled right before baking to preserve all the natural nutrients, enzymes and flavor. We try our absolute best to use 100% organic ingredients and all our yeast breads are sweetened with honey, never sugar.

The grains we keep on hand for you:

Hard Red Wheat: hearty, slightly nutty flavor; a modern grain that’s organic, non-GMO, and glyphosate-free

Kamut (Khorasan): rich, buttery, slightly sweet; an ancient grain with high protein and minerals

Spelt: mild, nutty, slightly sweet; also an ancient grain that’s easy to digest

Ancient grains are those that have remained largely unchanged over the centuries they’re closer to the original varieties cultivated thousands of years ago. Modern grains have been selectively bred for higher yields and consistency, but ours are still nutrient-rich and flavorful. Using a mix of both gives us bread that’s wholesome, nourishing, and packed with flavor.

📢 Ordering Update: Because I’m late posting this week, orders will close Wednesday at 4 PM. After this week, orders will regularly close Tuesdays at 8 PM for the Thursday drop!

Happy Monday!

I know things have been a little quiet on this page, but don’t worry we’re still here and still doing weekly bread drops!

Life has been a little crazy lately, lots of changes, lots of busy days… and if I’m being honest, I sometimes just really stink at social media 😅 but the bread and other delicious things are always happening!

Quick update for my wonderful Longview customers! Since I’ve recently moved to Tyler, I’ll be offering one bread drop day per week in Longview for now. I’d love your input on what works best for you: Tuesdays or Thursdays?

For this week only, I’m switching things up a bit:

🥖 All other orders close Tuesday at 8:00 PM

⏰ Pickup Thursday @ 5 PM
📍 Pickup location: Drug Emporium parking lot, Longview

Here’s what’s coming out of The Fresh Flour House, baked in small batches with 100% organic, freshly milled grains and a whole lot of love. From crusty sourdough to soft sandwich loaves and sweet treats, your table is about to be very happy.

The Road-Trip Sandwich Bread That Survived My Chaotic Morning 😂

Here’s a fresh milled flour adventure for you 🍞😅

Today we’re headed to Houston and Dallas for ministry events and church on Sunday, and of course last night at 12:30 AM I decided it was the perfect time to start some bread for road-trip sandwiches. Totally normal, right? 🤣

I got the dough mixed (no yeast yet), got tired, and tossed it in the fridge to finish in the morning. Fast forward to 7 AM I pulled it out to come to room temp, added the yeast… and then accidentally fell back asleep while it was rising. 😅

So we wake up, jump out of bed like the parents in Home Alone, and fly out the door to meet at my mother-in-law’s to load everything up. And y’all… my dough was PERFECTLY risen. 🙌

While they loaded the car, I baked the most beautiful 100% ancient grain loaf (Kamut + spelt). About 20 minutes down the road, I couldn’t wait any longer so I sliced into it and added the most delicious honey from RegenFarmhouse.com 🍯💛

Fresh milled flour + road trips + ministry weekends… it was a little chaotic, but this life is my favorite! 🫶✨
