Rustic Wedding Cake and cupcakes from this past weekend. The wedding was held in a beautiful barn in Camarillo CA. This cake fitted right in with the rustic theme. Cake was inspired by trees and weathered wood to have that organic feel. The flavors were mint chocolate chip, lemon raspberry and lavender.

Believe it or not this Louis Vuitton Valise is a cake! Made for a special friend of mine for his groom shower. It was a marble cake with a luxurious strawberry mouse filling.

Special Birthday Cake for a special Lady turning 100 years old today. These hat boxes filled with sugar flowers and decorated with lace and filigree designs really wowed the centennial. Flavors for this cake was almond with almond butter cream coated in chocolate ganache.

This is one of our most unique cakes yet, Carrot cake filled and covered with chocolate ganache. The married couple requested fruit on the cake and we went above and beyond to make roses made from strawberries and apples with mint leaves for garnish. This cake was w success

This birch tree stump cake was made for my good friend Jessica's baby shower. Her soon to be born daughter is so lucky to have a mother like her. The baby shower was a woodland rustic theme. The roses and butterfly are hand made from sugar and edible. The flavor of the cake was almond cake with vanilla butter cream for the top and almond and chocolate ganache for the bottom.

So very proud of this 5 tier wedding cake we made for a special friend. Each tier is tapered giving this cake a elegant and modern look. It was nice to step away from the traditional shapes for cakes.The succulents, roses and sugar flowers are all edible and hand made. I would like to thank for these wonderful picture

This week's experiment or I mean cake was this science themed cake for a mad scientist turning 9. Everything is edible including the lab rat This was also the first attempt adding gravity defying decorations to a cake, the test tube pouring green goo into the flask which is made from rice crispy treats.

This scary/cute Monsters Inc cake was the center piece to this birthday party. Top tier and horns are made with fondant and and the bottom tier is piped butter cream. It was so tasty that it was scary.

This Corset On a Mannequin bust totally made a lucky birthday girl bust out in joy. Everything is edible, except for the tu tu of course. This was also the first place winner of the Evil Cake Genius contest that Gateaux inc hosted earlier this summer. The cake flavor was white cake with strawberry filling.
