Last night was SO fun!
The Sip + Shop hosted by Team is truly something special in our community! Loved all of the social touches from the lobsters 🦞 , the music, the flow of the event, and everything in between.

So cool to be apart of! Not just as a vendor, but as a mom and a community member, these events mean so much to me. Building this business hasn’t also been easy… it’s late nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of heart poured into every detail and batch of dough.

I truly appreciate the support, the encouragement, and the incredible women and kids that I’ve connected with along the way — that’s what makes it all worth it. Making a lasting impression on someone’s experience and development

Dearest Readers,

It would seem these hands of mine have not known a moment’s rest—endlessly rolling, pouring, and mixing the most delightful confections for your viewing pleasure this very evening. One simply must attend the most anticipated Sip, Shop & Social of the spring season, where treasures abound and temptations are plentiful.

With summer fast approaching, these charming kits are so delectable in appearance one might mistake them for a sweet indulgence. Do exercise haste, however… for such delights are produced in the most limited of quantities, and once they vanish, they shall not soon return.

A perfect OT-based activity—simple, but packed with fine motor + regulation benefits.

Using a spray bottle to create rainbow paper towel art targets multiple developmental areas at once:

Fine Motor Skills
• Hand strength – squeezing the spray trigger builds intrinsic hand muscles needed for writing, cutting, and self-care tasks
• Grip development – promotes a functional tripod/pre-writing grasp pattern
• Bilateral coordination – one hand stabilizes the paper while the other sprays
• Hand endurance – repetitive spraying strengthens stamina for school tasks

Motor Planning + Coordination
• Kids learn how much pressure to apply to get the spray going
• Adjusting aim + distance builds visual-motor integration
• Encourages controlled, purposeful movements

Sensory Regulation
• Provides proprioceptive input through squeezing (calming + organizing)
• The visual of colors spreading offers a soothing, slow-paced sensory experience
• Light water mist can be alerting but not overwhelming

Self-Regulation + Focus
• Repetitive spraying can help with calming the nervous system
• Encourages sustained attention and mindfulness
• Great for kids who need a “job” to stay engaged
