recently, I saw something that said, “ya bite off more than ya can chew, and then ya learn how to chew it.” And it made me chuckle because I think over the past few years I’ve learned something that parallels- sometimes the Lord will lead you into a season so unfamiliar that you have no choice but to rely on Him to lead you through it!
Never in a million years when I was working as a nurse during covid (which feels like a lifetime ago) could I have pictured this sweet + abundant life. Becoming a stay at home mom, the “animals” (lol), a garden that somehow keeps producing more zucchini than we know what to do with + a lil roadside farmstand that started as a pipe dream and became something I’m so incredibly grateful for, was certainly not on my life bingo card LOL
Looking back, I can see God’s hand in soooo many of the places I once thought were detours (how I met my husband is a good one)! God is teaching me that I don’t need to have the whole plan figured out, I just need to be faithful with what He’s placed in front of me today! And somehow, one little “Lord, me? you sure????” yes at a time, He has been faithful to keep leading me forward🤍
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who labor build it in vain.” -Psalm 127:1
So grateful for this beautifully unexpected, chicken ‘n child chasing life! God’s plans have a funny way of being better than the ones we could ever make for ourselves. And I wouldn’t have it any other way 🤪
