I hope all of you are doing well this gorgeous Spring morning! A generous donation of fresh zucchini was delivered yesterday and that means something yummy is waiting for YOU! I’m happy to make zucchini bread (regular and mini size), brownies and/or cake. Are muffins more your gig? COOL! Happy to oblige that request too! Zucchini chocolate chip muffins are a great option! But FIRST let’s start with a giveaway!! 🎉

🍞 The first local person to comment with the words “PICK ME” will get a complementary mini zucchini loaf! Pickup can be anytime tonight after 5:30 or I can meet you tomorrow afternoon at WAWA. 🍞

🌸 GREETINGS JOYFUL CUSTOMERS! 🌸

While it may seem like I’ve gone MIA from the baking scene, I assure that is not the case! I still very much enjoy this aspect of life and hope to be part of your special occasion, promotion, or JUST BECAUSE! For those of you who are new to my page, here are the MAIN things I make:

🍞Breads (mostly quick breads but I love experimenting!)
🍪 Cookies, of nearly every variety!
🥧 Pies - especially FRUITY ones!

Prices are kept as reasonable as possible and I require a 3-4 day minimum on ALL orders. Large orders require a 50% deposit at time of placement. Delivery in the Allen and Auglaize County areas is available for a $5 fee. Pickup in our Shawnee home is available as well, with no additional fee. If you have any questions or suggestions, please TEXT me at 419-236-7629 with your name, request and best time to reach you. I’m also fond of trying new recipes. 😉

🍌🍋 Below is a new bread I made recently and shared among testers. The banana lemon bread is a subtle combination of yummy flavors and all the testers really liked it. But don’t take MY word for it!

📣 Greetings Joyful Customers! 📣

It has been a bit since I’ve shared much in here but I assure you, I’m still baking. Life has been quite hectic this year, in more ways than I expected. The only event I attended was this summer in Ada and I had a real blast! With proper planning and a few other things in line, I hope to participate in more events in 2026.

I pray each of you have had a joyous holiday season and continue into the new year with a strong sense of hope. Our world seems so twisted sometimes with the actions of others. And while we may be discouraged, it’s important to believe good things are still around the corner.

Here is one of the treats I made this Christmas. It is a giant Swiss cake roll and yes, it is just as rich as it looks. I would love to make one for you, your family, or even a company gathering. It is available all year long. The cost is $25 and I need a minimum of three days advanced notice.

📣 NEW DESSERT ALERT!! 📣

Greetings Joyful Customers! I hope summer has been kind to you and you have had many positive experiences. Hard to believe half of the year is over already!! 🌞

It’s been quite a while since I’ve shared anything on here but I promise I’m still filling bakery orders AND finding new treats to tempt your taste buds! The most recent concoction is the blueberry peach crisp. I’ve made a couple batches of it (one of which was for us at the house) and they’ve both turned out BEAUTIFULLY! Plus the smell is absolutely amazing.

🫐 Blueberries and peaches are my favorite fruits, especially when combined in a baking dish. If you’re a crisp lover, you will NOT be disappointed in this. I can also make blueberry peach pie and blueberry peach bread. Really, the options are endless!!

🍑 Please comment below or shoot me a text if any of the above baked goods are something you’d like to order. I do my best to keep prices reasonable. A lot of love goes into each and every sweet treat. 😊

I have a quick question and would love to hear your thoughts… When you hear the words “peppermint flavor,” do you think of Christmas or Winter? Or is it interchangeable?

📣 GREETINGS EVERYONE 📣

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and Joyful New Year! Hard to believe it’s January 11th already!

Now that much of the holidays have passed, I wanted to take a moment to update you on a recent addition to my schedule. Just over a month ago I began working part time in a local restaurant. (Many of you know my love of being in the kitchen and so far, this is an exciting adventure.) While working a full and part time job sounds a little crazy, I’m still baking. *Baking brings even more joy than both of those combined, but all of it is enjoyable.

My one request is that you still provide a minimum 3 day notice, longer for large orders. Sharing yummy cookies, breads and pies is fun and meaningful. I’d hate to miss out on baking for your special occasion whether it’s an anniversary, a birthday, graduation, new job, retirement - or really anything!

You can easily reach me via text at 419-236-7629 or feel free to leave a voicemail with all the necessary information. I promise to respond back within 24 hours. And as always… if you are a resident outside of Allen or Auglaize County, please be willing to pick up your order from our home. I can meet you in Shawnee also, if preferred.

🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS, JOYFUL CUSTOMERS! 🎄

Where has this month WENT?! I suppose it has gone by as quickly as every December goes but it always manages to go way TOO FAST! How can it be the 18th already?! Anyway… 🍪

While I haven’t done a ton of baking this month (compared to years past), please know that I’m still taking bakery orders. Christmas orders are done for this year as time is a very hot commodity (plus I picked up a part time job). But if you need anything in 2025, please reach out via text or in the comments below. I love making cookies, breads and pies. 🍪

I greatly appreciate everyone who has supported and encouraged me this year, more than ever! Whether you are a first time customer or a repeat one, you ALL matter! I know it’s been a rough year (financially) for many of you and baked goods tend to be much less of a priority. 🦚 HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK! 🦚

🎃 While we are officially less than 2 days away from Thanksgiving, there’s still time to place an order for cookies or pies. (I know everyone doesn’t always celebrate on the same day.) At the present moment, I have no cutoff date for treats, however Thursday and Friday (28th and 29th) will not be “bake days.”

🎄 Christmas is officially less than a month away too. 🎉 I’m currently accepting orders for your December celebrations. Sometime after this week, I’ll post the cutoff date for ordering through 2024. I really look forward to making something yummy for you, your family, friends and coworkers, no matter the season!

Today’s order for a dozen chocolate chip cookies, a pecan pie and a pumpkin pie was made. Another pumpkin pie will be made tomorrow.

Reminder on a few prices…

*Chocolate Chip Cookies: $1.25 each ($15/dozen)
*Pecan Pie: $15 for a 9”
*Pumpkin Pie $13 for a regular 9” or $15 for a Fireball Pumpkin Pie
