Father’s Day is coming… and I’m planning treats for the dads who deserve something better than another last-minute gift card 😅

Absolutely loved how my buttercream swirls turned out 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Unfortunately, the Mini Sugar Cookie Bar Loaves ended up a little dry this time around. Baking new things is always a learning process. My first instinct was to make a couple of patriotic chocolate chip cookie cakes instead. Next time ill go with my instinct 🤷‍♀️

When life hands you lemons… sure, you could make lemonade. 🍋
But honestly, I’d rather make cookies.
These lemon cookies loaded with white chocolate chips are the perfect mix of bright citrus and sweet creamy goodness. Soft, chewy, buttery, and just enough lemon to make you know summer is officially here.

I've been in the test kitchen all weekend 👩‍🍳✨

Cookie Pies are a huge trend in the UK, and I just tested this Kinder Bueno version. Was it perfect? No 😂 Next time I’ll use a slightly bigger pan to prevent the overflow situation.

But here’s the crazy part… this Cookie Pie is over 3” tall and each slice weighs in at more than 9 ounces 😳🍪

The real question is: how does it taste? Well… it’s not even 9 AM yet, so it might be a little early for me to answer that 😂 The official taste testers will weigh in later today.

I already have a few more flavors I can’t wait to experiment with.

I was never really sold on all the ribbon cakes I kept seeing everywhere. But a customer requested one for his girlfriend, and now I have to admit… I’m really starting to come around 😅🎀

Sometimes stepping outside your usual style ends up surprising you in the best way. I hope his girlfriend enjoys her special day and this delicious cake!

A couple orders due by noon tomorrow… and then the rest of the day is set aside for something I’ve been wanting to try for a while. 👀✨
I’m really excited about this one because I honestly haven’t seen anyone local creating these yet — which makes me even more motivated to give it a try. 💛
Now whether it turns out exactly how I’m picturing it… we’ll see. 😂 But that’s part of the fun of trying new things and pushing myself creatively.
