It's been a while since I have popped in here and I apologize!
May seems to have been our month of ups and downs and 100% busyness. Between my full time job, 2 sports for our boys, renovating our basement to rent out, and finally getting me bees, I've had little time in the kitchen! (Plus add in field trips, chicks, a dog that had a phantom pregnancy, and single handedly flooded my basement🫣)
BUT! I miss it, that's for sure and the bread is calling my name. 🥖
I apologize for missing my monthly No Thyme To Cook market last Sunday, I know many were looking for me. I will be there in June!!
I am also hoping to drop a HotPlate order in the next week or so to pick up from my home! So be on the lookout! In the mean time, here's some May life:

I've been watching the weather and contemplating doing a preorder because last month I sold out by 3pm. But, I know people love getting their breads this way and it's fair to faithful customers ❤️

This is only for breads. 🥖🥖 Sunday pickup on Solomons Island and it will be busy! There's a huge fireman's parade and other things happening on the island!! I am definitely anticipating selling out again and I made extra this time!

If I got your hopes up for bourbon sourdough, I'm bringing them back down with this post. I knew something felt off yesterday while making and shaping my dough.

Sometimes, especially with corn mash, loaves just don't loaf. So rather than giving you breads like you see below (🫣🙈😂), there will no longer be bourbon loaves at tomorrows market. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Back to the drawing board and my apologies!

💥AND EVEN BETTER: I will have 6 BOURBON LOAVES!! 😆 These loaves are limited and I never know when I'll have them because it totally depends I when I get the mash from To***co Barn Distillery but! I got some Tuesday and will have at least 6 loaves ready!! 💥

Happy Valentine's Day ❤️ I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I spent yesterday and today doing amazing things with amazing people and none of it involved baking 😅
