🔥 Campfire cravings without the campfire? We've got you covered.

With burn restrictions in place and summer fires on everyone's mind, you can still enjoy all those nostalgic s'mores flavors without striking a match.

Did you miss out on the S'mores Black Tea last weekend? It is packed with notes of chocolate, graham cracker, and toasted marshmallow, bringing all the cozy campfire memories right to your mug.

For the kids (or the young at heart):🍫 Serve it iced with a splash of chocolate milk.🍦 Pour it over ice and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a tea float.🥛 Make a "campfire latte" with steamed milk and a dollop of whipped cream.

For the grown-ups:🥃 Campfire Old FashionedBrew tea double strength, chill, and combine:• 2 oz bourbon• 1 oz chilled S'mores Black Tea• Dash of bitters• Orange peel garnish

🍸 Toasted Marshmallow Tea Martini• 2 oz vanilla vodka• 2 oz chilled S'mores Black Tea• Splash of Irish creamShake with ice and serve in a martini glass.

No smoke in your eyes. No fire permits to check. No marshmallows dropped in the dirt.

Just all the cozy campfire flavor you remember.

Available this week at the Lewiston MI Farmers Market while supplies last. ☕🔥

🌿☀️ Good Morning & Happy Monday ☀️🌿

The shady little corner of the garden is putting on quite a show right now. The white woodland anemones are dancing above the greenery, the tiny yellow blooms are shining like little drops of sunshine, and even the pollinators have been busy making their rounds.

Today will be spent where I’m happiest—out in the garden. Retirement has finally given us the time to tackle a large section of the yard that has been waiting patiently for plants, and this week will likely be filled with digging, planting, rearranging, and dreaming up new garden spaces.

Of course, every good gardener needs a supervisor. Mine prefers to stretch out in a sunny patch between the flowers and keep an eye on things from ground level. 🐾🌸

Wishing everyone a beautiful week filled with sunshine, blooms, and a little time outdoors. Take a moment to notice what’s blooming around you—you might be surprised by the beauty hiding in the quiet corners.

🌼 Have a wonderful week, friends! 🌼

How fitting since I’m starting on a new fairy garden this week! I have a spot in my yard that I struggle with getting anything to grow and I love including fairy gardens so I thought I’d be the perfect solution. And-you never know when you will get a surprise visit from a little one who will be totally immersed in it. Last year I had JUST put up a couple of them and our surprise visitor noticed them.

Well, my first Saturday back at the farmers market is in the books!

I debuted my new booth setup today, and while I absolutely LOVE how it turned out, apparently I failed to account for the unique weather phenomenon known as “farmers market pavilion wind.” 🤣 Somehow the breeze manages to speed up once it gets under that roof, which meant my decorative fabric garland spent part of the morning trying to make a break for it.

The decorative cloths may or may not make a return appearance, and my display rack has officially been informed that it will be getting weights before next week’s market.

Despite the wind’s best efforts, it was wonderful to be back and see so many familiar faces stop by. Thank you to everyone who came out, chatted, shopped, and welcomed me back for the season. It always means so much.

And a quick reminder: I’ll be selling tickets at my booth for the Garden Walk on July 11th, so if you’ve been meaning to grab yours, you can pick them up while you’re browsing tea, baked goods, caramel corn, and all the other goodies.

See you next Saturday—hopefully with fewer airborne decorations! 🌿🫖💨

Back in the kitchen and getting ready for my return to the farmers market this Saturday! 🌿🍪

This week has been filled with baking, packing tea, putting together new Blend Your Own Tea Kits, and finalizing a fresh new look for my setup. So far the lineup includes several cookies, mini loafs, honey caramel corn, loose leaf teas, and whatever else I can manage to finish before market day. 😊

It feels good to be getting back into market season and I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces again this weekend!

The best thing about my Lavender Lemonade Sugar cookies, besides devouring them, is that I get to repurpose the leftover ingredients to whip up a glass of homemade lavender lemonade that's simply the icing on the cake, or should I say, the sprinkles on the cookies.

✨ Tuesday Tea Talk ✨

Lilac season always feels a little fleeting and magical 💜

While most people know lilacs for their beautiful fragrance, the blossoms can also be used to gently flavor teas, lemonades, syrups, sugars, and baked goods. Their floral notes are delicate, lightly sweet, and incredibly nostalgic — like springtime in bloom.

One of my favorite ways to use them is in a cold brew lilac iced tea. Simply steep fresh, unsprayed lilac blossoms in cold water with tea in the refrigerator for several hours for a soft floral infusion that feels both refreshing and calming.

Lilacs have traditionally been associated with relaxation, renewal, and peace — which honestly makes them perfect for a quiet tea moment 🌸

Just remember: always use blossoms that have not been chemically treated and avoid the green stems and leaves, which can be bitter.

Have you ever tried lilacs in tea or baking before? 💜

I’ll have both with me at the Farmers Market next weekend.
