It’s time to share the bitter but sweet news about what’s happening with Rissa’s Sweets starting at the beginning of the new year.

My husband works for Toyota North America and he is being relocated to Japan to work at the main plant for 2 years!

What does that mean?

That means our kids and myself will be relocating with him as well as Rissa’s Sweets in the new year😞. When I started this business last year I never thought my family would be uprooting to live in another country. I have enjoyed making cookies and goodies for you all and appreciate everyone that has placed an order with Rissa’s Sweets! Thanks for trusting me to make sweets for all your special occasions ❤️

Now for some good news!

I’m not leaving tomorrow so I will still take orders through Christmas. So please continue to place your order with me through the end of this year 😊

I’d also love for you all to still follow me as I will be creating content and posting on all my adventures and baking in another country for the next 2 years.

Lastly, we will be back! Our plan is to be back at the beginning of 2029 and soon after I will start taking orders again. So, I hope to make goodies for you again in the future 😊

Again, thanks for everyone that has supported me and for everyone that has placed an order with me! Some of you became regulars and I will truly miss you but it’s not forever ❤️

First Responder Nomination #3

It’s time to nominate a police station for next months FREE goodies! For the first nomination Leonard won so let’s try to bless anothe police station with FREE goodies!

How to nominate - just reply below with the police department you’d like to nominate. One vote per person please

This process acts like a raffle. So the more votes the better chances of winning 😊

One of this weeks orders!
As some of you know my sister is a firefighter/paramedic and so I get to make goodies for her to take for co-workers birthdays!

This time was cookies and a cake! I love the opportunity to work of my cake skills and I really loved how this one turned out and look forward to selling small cakes in the future 😊

It’s hard to keep up posting cookies I have done with everything else I have going on lol but I still try to keep up!

Here are a couple of orders that went out last week!

1) A very sweet girls birthday was last week and I had the honor of making her cookies! She wanted volleyballs and flower smiley faces. I loved how these turned out and so did she!

2) Rissa’s Sweets served up some pizza slices again! I really enjoy doing these pizza cookies! They are so fun to do and look so cute!

Congrats again to Ladonia Fire Department for winning the FREE goodies this month!
I hope you all enjoyed the cookies, brownie cakes and chocolate chip cookie cakes!
Thanks for serving your community and for all yall do!

Back to School Cookies Dye Free!

This was my first time doing dye free. The apples were supposed to be red but the dye free red I order was not red it was orange. So, I messaged the customer to let her know and if it would be ok if I made them green and she was totally ok with that!
I think I liked how the green apples turned out better anyway 😊

I thought these were so cute. I did one black dog in remembrance of a dog she lost this year and I thought that was so special!
