I'm doing a social media takeover for Western Loudoun Artists Studio Tour today where I'm supposed to fill up their Instagram and Facebook with posts about my work. As you probably know, I'm not very diligent about posting, so I'm having to work really hard to keep up!
Since I'm a guest artist with Karen Hustwaite and will be at *her* studio in Middleburg, I've included some shots of *my* studio so you can see where I make all my messes.
(Also, I'm really diggin' this vase I just threw.)
For the studio tour this year, I am a guest artist with Karen Hustwaite at her studio in Middleburg. Here's a little virtual tour of my studio in Ashburn!
At the top is my wheel. Fun fact: I throw while standing up. My wheel is on a deck to bring it up to waist height. You can see on the shelf the bowl from my previous video.
On the bottom right is my carving and painting station. The table top is covered in tiny clay crumbs.
The bottom left is my kiln and some things waiting to go into the kiln. The buckets hold glazes.
Thanks for virtually visiting my studio!
