We just dropped some delicious bread options over at Demeter’s Common on N. College St. Heads up, I tweaked my chocolate, rye bread recipe just a little bit and now it’s perfect! I’ve got some of that, as well as sandwich, bread, cornbread, and a whole lot more. Stop by the meters today. Your taste buds will thank you.

Check it out, Lebanon peeps! Just dropped off an absolutely gorgeous selection of fresh baked breads at Demeter’s Common on N. College St.

Freshly baked sandwich, bread, challah, baguettes, cornbread, and I’ve got a special treat for y’all…
Peach Babka and chocolate Rye loaves are also there for your enjoyment.

Oh, and you should also know that Mallory and company are prepping some amazing things for lunch in their café corner. Take a look at the menu today and head over there for a super spectacular lunch! You won’t be disappointed.

We won! Lyn and I entered the baking contest at the Wilson County Fair, and we came away with a total of 4 ribbons! My Jalapeño Cheddar Rolls took 1st place in the miscellaneous yeast roll category! Lyn got two 2nd place ribbons for her cornbreads in the miscellaneous quick bread and muffin category, and a third place ribbon for her pumpkin bread.

Not bad, I’d say!

Went on a baking marathon last night! But I did it all for you. Head over to Lester Farms today between 10 AM and 1 PM to get your hands on some fresh baked goodies.
Sandwich, bread, chocolate, rye, bread, gluten-free, cornbread, focaccia, peach babka, and challah will be there for you to pick up and enjoy.

Even though I am not Italian, i’ve always had a connection to semolina bread. In New York City, where I grew up, some of the best restaurants were Italian. Warm semolina bread was always delivered to the table as we waited for our food. Crispy crust, soft inside, and coated with sesame seeds. I remember being a kid sitting in those restaurants trying to clean up all the fallen sesame seeds from my plate before my food came. it took me a while to perfect it, but the semolina loaves I make take me back to those days every single time.
